I remembered how you worked this job, but something wasn't right
Those long days and those tiring nights
It didn't suit you and I saw it in your eyes
There's better ways than this
Let me help out
Let me love you and be there for you, only you
I'm hard headed, but soft if you touched
Pleading my case just isn't the case
Work that job as you worked to make us work out
If you only do that you'll have nothing else to worry about
Let me help out
There's better ways than this
