Chapter 13

1 year later-Richelle's POV

It had been a year, since I found I was pregnant and my world came crashing down. And here I am, still living with a beautiful baby girl, she's three months old and is called Nina Grace Erlick. I gave her Noah's name because he is her father and I respect that. I moved from street to street for the first few months before I came across a beach, there was an abandoned cottage up a hill, away from everywhere. I knew nobody owned it because it used to belong to my father before he decided he didn't like it so just left it there to rot. I knew exactly where it was because I went on family holidays there for years so here I am in a cottage up a hill with a three month old.

It had just turned winter and the house got pretty chilly, luckily there's a fireplace and a forest just next to the house so I'd gather wood on a daily basis and burn it to keep the house nearly warm. I was pretty good at saving money but we were now running dangerously low, only one hundred dollars left out of the original money. I'd earned a little bit of money with occasional jobs in small shops or a farm but nothing permanent. So now I was on a job hunt but I couldn't leave my daughter with anybody so she had to come with me, not ideal.

Noah's POV

It's been a year since Richelle left, a pretty empty and sad year. I was still with Amanda and she was still paying me but besides that it was the only thing that hadn't changed. A few months after Richelle left I found out all the money I gave my Mom for cars breaking down or shopping or all the things she took money off me for were being spent on drugs for herself. Then I had to leave the studio because my Mom took away all the money I earned and if I didn't give it to her then she'd beat me like my Dad used to, so I couldn't afford dance anymore. My brothers had all started drugs as well even my ten year old brother but I refused because I knew it wasn't worth it. So now here I am living in a drug hole and being paid for being with my girlfriend.

I left the house to escape and went over to Amanda's.

"Hey babe I'm here." I shout up the stairs, over the last year she's been nicer I guess especially after I told her about my home life

"Alright, I'm coming down" she called down the stairs shortly before I heard her running down

"Hey, Noah how do you feel about going to the beach today?" she asked, I nodded my head "will you drive?" she asks, I nod my head again and we leave the house and get into her car

"why are we going to the beach it's like so cold?" I ask her once we're in the car

"I wanted some alone time and we've never been to the beach together and it'll be quiet because of how cold it is." she says sweetly, I smile at her and start driving

We get to the beach after about an hour we get out the car and both instantly start shivering, I pull my sweater off and hand it to her even though I could do with an extra layer, she looks at me and smile, I return it and then grab her hand and walk her down to the beach. We start playing about and then end up waist deep in the sea, we'll need spare clothes later.

Richelle's POV

I'm going down to the coast today, we don't normally leave the house because there's not much we can do down there but today Nina needs some new clothes and I'm going to have a look for jobs.

We're in the local shop just about ton pay for some new clothes when I turn around to two people I'd never though I was going to see again
