He took the news better than I thought. For sure, I thought he was gonna flip out just like I did. I'm glad he didn't because I want my bestfriend back. If I don't get my boyfriend back, I atleast want to have my bestfriend.

"I miss you." I sniffled, laying my head on his shoulder as Aaliyah crawled into his lap. He chuckled & kissed my head.

"Dan Dan!" Aaliyah squeaked.

"She knows my name?" He looked at me.

"You know I had to tell her about my bestest friend in the entire world." I smiled. "She reminds me so much of Jettie.." He was silent, but I could feel him smiling.

"Looks just like him too..." We sat in silence for a second, then my phone rang.

"Have you talked to her?" He spoke.

"Her who?" I asked, looking at him. He gave me the side eye. I sighed. "I have nothing to say to her."

"You full of shit.." He shook his head & got up, going towards the sound table.

"Watch your mouth!" I spat, rocking a fussy Aaliyah to sleep.

"It's the truth!" He spat back. I rolled my eyes & got up to leave. "That's yo damn problem right there!" I stopped, glaring at him as I turned around. "Every time you heard shit you don't like, you fuckin leave! That girl ain't done shit but try and apologize to yo stubborn ass."

"Goodbye Daniel." I left.

"DAN DAN!!" Aaliyah screamed & fussed, reaching behind me. "DAN DAN!"

"No Adell!" I told her. "We're leaving."

Later that day

I've been at Odell's place ever since I left from seeing Daniel. Seeing him today just makes me realize how much I really love him & how much I don't wanna lose Odell. I miss Daniel so much, but I don't know if I choose between him & Odell at the moment. I'm so glad that Aaliyah likes Daniel, because I don't know what I'd do if she didn't...

"Wanna talk 'bout it?" Odell asked as we cuddled in his bed while he watched football highlights. I just shook my head. "Ya' sho?"

"Yes Odell. I'm fine." I sighed.

"MA MA!!! MA MA!!!" Aaliyah cried. Before I got up, Odell stopped me.

"I got ha'." He got up & walking off to her nursery.

I started to think; I appreciate how cool Odell is with the fact that I'm still not over Daniel, I surprised that Daniel is fine with knowing that Odell & I have a child. They're so wonderful, but so different. Daniel is a lover, Odell is a fighter; Daniel is gentle & compassionate, Odell is rough & passionate. I love how they control my body in every humanly way possible. I love them, but mostly their personalities.
