She is so full of her ego that she chooses to wait
for him to say the things she could have said
because there is rapture when he speaks of what she wants to hear.
(It takes love to hold one's hand when you want to be held.)
She is so full of pride that she chooses to say
words that are opposite of what she really feels
because there is ecstasy when he stays when she tells him to leave.
(It takes love to resist this pride-made bliss.)
