I got scared again and I couldn't see her face, but I was able to notice her beautiful blue shoes and she had the same plank as the other time. I remember I loved blue shoes too when I was little.

Meanwhile, an appointment with all the doctors is organised.

Maison 'We made a little step to our purpose. What happens from now on is very important and maybe dangerous. They will discover their ability soon and we need to know how we should talk to them and treat them.'
Liam 'If you realise that they figured it out, you have to tell us immediately. We need to see how they act, what emotions they have and how strong they could be.'
January 'Is rapidity a factor ?'
Maison 'Be more specific, please.'
January 'If they discover it faster than the others, will they be stronger?'
Maison 'No. It is possible to be the reverse. But there is nothing 100% sure. It is up to them and their strength.'
January 'I think Jo has already discovered her ability. We had an accident on our way here because the engine was too hot, but she touched it anyway with no pain or visible wounds.'
Maison 'If that were true, it would be our garantee for a small success for now. Could you give us more details?'
January 'It's everything I've known so far. But I will keep an eye on her and I will tell you.'

Next day.

It's a beautiful Monday morning full of new adventures and hope. The sun's rays making their own way through the soothing clouds are lightening my room, the birds are seen flying above my window singing, so I start my day full of energy and positivity.

-Knock, knock-

Lore 'Come in!'
Stephanie 'We need to go downstairs. Kevin is calling us for our first writing lesson.'

It's been a long time since we have been waiting for a good thing to happen.

Downstairs.

Kevin 'It is much easier to teach you as a smaller group than to put all of you together, so all the doctors have decided that each one of us should teach the people we take care of in general.'
January 'Where is Jo?'
Stephanie 'She has gone to the centre to see the sightseeings and meet new people.'
January 'What?! Why didn't she let us know?!'
Stephanie 'Maybe because you said we were able to go wherever we wanted to without asking for permission.'

This conversation seems very tensed. It is the first time when I see Stephanie mad. She usually is calm, nice with everyone and someone has to put a lot of effort to make her angry. She has also been my best friend since I was three years old.

Kevin 'Let's begin, shall we? You know the letters, right?'
Both 'Of course.'
Kevin 'OK. Write down what I'm saying: truth, doctors, teenagers.
Stephanie: t-r-u-t-h, d-o-c-t-o-r-s, t-e-n-a-g-e-r-s.
Lore: t-r-u-t-h, t-e-e-n-a-g-e-r-s, d-o-c-t-o-r-s, l-i-a-r.

Kevin 'You missed an 'e', Stephanie and you missed an 's', Lore. the last word wasn't required.'
Lore 'Ahm, I'm sorry!'
Lore: l-i-a-r-s.
Kevin 'Doctor-s, Lore. The last word you wrote wasn't even required.'
Lore 'But did I spell it right?'
Kevin ' ...Yes.'

After almost four hours of studying how to write or to spell essential, ordinary things, we are free to do whatever we wish to with our time.

Lore 'Stephanie, do you want to go out?'
Stephanie 'Of course.'
January 'Girls! Where did Jo say she was going to?'
Stephanie 'I don't know.'
January 'Please, make an effort! She wasn't seen by anyone in town and I am afraid she went to the forest.'
Lore 'She knows it is forbidden to go there. I am sure Jo will be back by noon.'
January 'I hope so.'

January leaves and I really feel worried. Jo has been melancolic since we left the hospital.

Lore 'Actually, I'm feeling a little bit tired. I'm just going to take a glass of water and going upstairs. Could we let our outgoing some other time?'
Stephanie 'Sure, don't worry!'

I'm waiting until Stephanie leaves the house only to have the chance to go out too without being seen. I have a weird feeling about Jo's missing and something drags me inside the woods. I decide to listen to my own initial thoughts and I am heading to the forest even if we are not allowed to.
Jo was talking to us about memories about her father. Mister Johnson was a fisherman and he loved spending time with Jo by the river and the only river we have around is the one from the woods.
It's cold in here and the road is not friendly; I almost fell. I'm rushing to my destination since the fear is starting getting into my body.
I'm finally able to see her and I am so happy about realising my intuition being true.

Lore 'Jo, it's dangerous to be alone here. Are you OK?'
Jo 'I don't think so.'

   After a moment of silence.

Jo 'I discovered my ability.'
Lore 'Jo, but that's great. You are different now...and more powerful.'
Jo 'You know it's a lie. I am different and less powerful because they will exploit me as soon as they find out about it.'
Lore 'What do you mean? Are you aware about their real intentions?'
Jo 'I know the truth.'
Lore 'How did you find out? What is your ability?'
Jo 'My body can't feel any pain. I am able to figure each one's problem out. If someone has a real issue, I will know what it is. January was worried about me and supervised me more carefully only to get the 'crown' of being the first doctor who has a different 'patient' leading to  the other doctors to take control of me and testing my body, my feelings, my brain, my reactions.'
Lore 'Do you know why they would do something like that?'
Jo 'You know why, Lore. There is no need telling you because this is one of your problems. You are afraid of them and you can't win the conflict that is about to start soon if you don't have the right people beside, ready to believe your story and to fight back.'
Lore 'We need to go. It is not safe here.'
Jo 'I am not going back there. It is less safer in town. January will find out about me eventually and I don't want to serve to their  purpose in any sort of way.'
Lore 'We will find a solution, I promise. They are already looking for you. I don't want to give them any help, but running away is not an option at this moment. We are going back home pretending nothing happened and they will not see your missing as a problem. Let January believe whatever she wants, but try not to give her any reason to suspect you anymore.'
Jo 'Two more weeks. This is how long I am going to stay in TieQueen to find a good alternative.'
Lore 'OK. Let's go now; it's getting dark.'

I don't know how I should feel about this incident. I am sad because she is lost in her inner mind. I was going through the same struggle at the beginning of this journey and maybe I still am, but I am trying to cover that up. Now that I know she found out about their purpose, it's easier for me to endure everything will come.
Suddenly, something blew up from nowhere in front of us and we both fainted. That little girl appears again in front of me.

L. Girl 'Everything happens to make it easier become true.'
