Tattoo.

It's been days since we have been trying to find a way to see January's tattoo, but it was all in vain.
Somehow, everyone has been discovering their ability during this week, except me. I start thinking I am the weakest in here. Even if I know it's good to remain the same, I still have a few thoughts about my real strength.

People are heard screaming. I'm running over Klaus and Andy's house and I can see everyone gathered around it with scared faces. I'm getting closer, so it's possible for me to notice three dead bodies on the ground: Melissa's, Klaus's and Andy's. The doctors are surprised, the sound of teenagers' tears are clearly heard. All of us are in complete shock.

Lyvia 'How can something like this could have happened?! You are supposed to be here to protect us, aren't you?!' She is barely saying these words drown in tears.

No one is answering. It's an unexpected situation and I guess there isn't any kind of answer yet.
I know it's wrong, but I take advange of this terrible accident and I am going back to our house and I'm sneaking around into January's room. I Iet my phone set up to take photos hidden behind an old dressing when it detects movements. Finally, the lessons Kevin teaches us provided to be useful. I'm leaving and waiting in the garden for Stephanie. Instead of her appearance, Kevin shows up.

Kevin 'What are you doing here? Weren't you at..?' I don't let him finish.
Lore 'Yes, but the pressure was way too big, so I decided to come back here.' I'm saying this a little slowly. What happened to them?'
Kevin 'Well, it was definitely an unbelievable situation. We don't know yet. The doctors are guessing that they couldn't resist to the whole process; that they are weak. We are going to take them back to the hospital to search for the problem and to bury them in the yard.'
Lore 'Why can't we make the funeral here?'
Kevin 'It is more complicated in the city. Everything there is safe and easier.'
Lore 'I see... ' Now, more than anytime I feel he's lying, but I am not asking any extra questions. I am making a weird face, though.
Kevin 'But tell me, Lore. Haven't you discovered the ability yet?'
Lore 'Well... no.' My words are lost, but I am honest with him.
Kevin 'Don't worry! I'm sure you will soon enough! Keep your hope alive!'
Lore 'Yeaah, thanks for your advice!'

Meanwhile, January also arrives; she waves to us and goes inside. I assume she's heading to her room, so I'm trying to end up my conversation with Kevin.

Lore 'I need to see January for a few minutes. Bye!'
Kevin 'Ahm... Bye... ' he's looking confused.

Upstairs. I enter her room without knocking because of my rushing.

January 'LORE!' She's turning around getting her voice higher. What do you want?'

I'm moving to the place where my phone stays with a vague expression. Her clothes are different, so it is obvious she has changed them.
Lore 'Ahmm... ahm... I... want to ask you something... very important!' I have no idea of what I'm going to say, but I realise I can't grab my phone without January noticing it, so I pretended I dropped a vase. When she tries to pick it up, I take my phone and apologize for the incident.

I get out from her room very fast and head to mine in such a speed. Suddenly, I cross over Stephanie, I reach out for her hand and drag ourselves inside.

Lore 'I got it, I got it!' I sound so happy.
Stephanie 'What did you get?'
Lore 'I left my phone in January's room, so we have pictures of her tattoo now!'
Stephanie 'No way! You're crazy! Let's see them!'

The photos aren't very clear and we need full attention to figure out what it's written on her arm. If we do this, it will lead us to the next important step because I'm sure all the doctors have the same tattoo since they wear long-sleeved clothes. And I also have my doubts about the people who live here because they do the same thing.

Lore 'I think it's a number.'
Stephanie 'Look closer. It's a sentence which finishes with a number. And a drawing.'
Lore and Stephanie 'It's thirteen!' We say this at the same time with a surprised expression and loud voice. We keep looking deeply in each other's eyes for a few seconds.

Lore 'Alright, SO THIRTEEN MEANS US. We have already known that. But why would someone tattoo it on his body? We are only some special teenagers, we don't represent the world.' I'm standing up.
Stephanie 'Lore... I think we do.' She looks worried. 'THE CHANGE IS TO BE CREATED.13.JS'
Lore 'What are you saying?' I'm turning around to her.
Stephanie 'The tattoo. This is the written message from it.'

I take the phone and I zoom the photo until I am able to decipher the words too... 'THE CHANGE IS TO BE CREATED... 13.JS'.

Thirteen from us, but what about this statement and the last letters? Maybe we are the change too since we are becoming different during the decoding of our ability, but is that so important to tattoo it on the arm? The drawing shows a girl and a boy holding together the world. It really scares us, but we need to be sure about what we have just found out, so we need to go in town to prove ourselves that we are right.

It's Friday and nobody goes to school. The same thing as on Monday. I'm walking calmly, eager to find a vulnerable person, on the main street full of hurried people. After five minutes, there he is. A tall cute boy with big eyes and blonde hair is trying to relax on the grass when, suddenly, I make my appearance.

Lore 'Hello, my name is Danielle! Would you mind if I join you ?' I'm glancing the spot near him.
The boy 'Of course! Nice to meet you, Danielle! My name is Lucien by the way.'
Lore 'Nice to meet you too, Lucien! So, why are you here and not at school?'
Lucien 'I'd rather spend my time in green places than to schools. What's your excuse?'
Lore 'I like meeting new people in green places than in schools. And to prove it, I bought plenty of water. You know... on this high temperature and talking much, I bet we'll be thirsty very soon.'

I pass one of the bottle to him and after twenty-long minute discussions, he finally decides to drink from it. When I was in January's room, I took a liquid which makes people fall asleep, so I used it on Lucien. Stephanie has been watching the entire scene from distance and now she's helping me to drag him behind a tall tree on the grass and I roll his sleeve up only to see if he has the tattoo. Our suspicions ended up being false, but Stephanie wants to check the left arm too even if January has it on the right one. We struggle a bit and the whole effort is worth because he has the same tattoo as January, except the last two letters.
We leave him there and we hurry to our house. We don't want to talk in public keeping the our powder dry, but we have strong thoughts inside of our mind which are ready to explode.

In my room.

Stephanie 'If all the people from here have that drawing it means... ?'
Lore 'That all of them are involved in this experiment. All of them are taking part of it.'
