When the hell is a potatoes actually dead. You did the potatoes up from the ground and detach it from its roots. A regular plant would be dead.
But potatoes have to be different. Turns out you could just put that potato in the ground again and water it regularly. Guess what you'll have. POTATO PLANT!
So when is it actually dead? When you cook it? When it dries up?
