It was the middle of the night, and we were still walking on the trail. I lacked behind a little. Not because I was tired though, but to avoid further questioning. I wish I had my jacket.
"Sophie, are you okay? We can stop for the night if you want." Olivia said.
"No, I'm just fine." I said. I keep thinking that F1's hiding in the bushes or trees, following me. Maybe planning a next attack-
What am I thinking? I facepalmed.
"The stars are beautiful tonight." April said.
Because of the last thought I had, I started shaking. What if something like that does happen? I won't be prepared; I might get killed out here!
"Sophie, are you alright?" Olivia put her hand on my shoulder. I flinched.
"Y-yeah, I'm ok, it's.. all good."
"That's it, were stopping for the night." Olivia said, and laid down her sleeping bag in an open place by the trail.
"B-but, I'm ok-"
"You're stuttering." She said.
I laid my sleeping bag to the far left, leaving April in the middle.

I never slept in the sleeping bag, I just stayed up in a sitting position, keeping myself awake for some reason I don't know about.
"Sophie."
I got so surprised, I almost did a back roll.
It was only April.
"You're not yourself." She said.
"Yes, I, umm, I'm just the normal Sophie." I said.
"No. You're not." She said. "What's wrong?"
I leaned forward, and had my hand pressed against my forehead.
"It's.. just.. this feeling." I explained. "I feel like I might be attacked at any moment, without knowing. I feel like I'll be killed. Murdered" I said, then I felt stinging across my cheek, and it was so hard it turned my head.
April slapped me.
"What was that for-"
I stopped talking when I turned back and saw the look on her face.
"You were attacked. Now it's over. Get some sleep." She said.
I blinked a few times before moving over a couple of inches away from her, and I just lay there, confused.
I waited for what seemed like hours, until April was asleep. I still have that feeling.
Just under my eyes felt hot, and my eyes felt cold.
I got up, and carefully walked to the middle of the trail. I looked where we came from. Home is just, so far away.

F1 POV:
It's about midnight, I think, and I'm walking down the trail. I can see the lights of the town.
F2 is staying with Stephen to help him out with doctoring and stuff. He's, even let Stephen catch him in one of those, Pokeballs.
The trail turned into grass, and I was walking towards the bridge. The Pokemon center I caught Vee at was about 2 miles from here down the trail. I guess I could call it lucky.
I found the bridge. I looked at her jacket, then back at the bridge. Is this a good idea? Let's just get this over with.
I crossed the bridge, and noticed that the broken boards were fixed, because they were lighter in color.
I made my way through the woods, until I saw a cabin with a beaming porch light. I knocked on the door.
F2 and I made a 'secret knocking code' for when I needed him. I knocked 2 times, 5 times, then 3 times. The door slightly opened.
"F1? What are you doing here so late at night?" I heard F2 say sleepily.
I showed him the jacket.
"What's this?" He said, stepping out of the cabin and closing the door behind him.
"Long story short, it's Vee's." I said.
There was some silence.
"Why now?" He asked.
"Follow me. We have a hell-of-a-lot of running to do." I said. I grabbed F2's wrist, and let go a few seconds after I started running. As expected, he was following me.
"Where are you-we going?!" He yelled.
"You'll see." I said. I don't want him to get all mad like I did. Plus, he might just break down.

Vee (Sophie) POV:
I've just been pacing. The sky was dim, and was starting to get lighter. I'm too anxious. I'm too paranoid. I need to calm down, or I might seem suspicious.
There has to be something that I can do to pass time, or be more secure. I looked around. I see grass, clouds, light, trees, dirt. Nope, I'm screwed for the rest of the night, which is just about 5 hours.
I hear something. I just realized. Maybe F1's coming back for me? He better have my jacket.
He said he would get F2, didn't he? Oh no, what if..
There's a million possible outcomes. Half of which that doesn't involve F2.
I think I'll take a little walk the opposite way of where F1's coming.
It was a little cold, without my jacket.
I kept going. It was still dark, well, the tall trees made it that way.
"Hey!"
I heard.
I saw F1 not too far away, with F2. I knew it. I was worried about this.
I turned running.
I kept going. I knew they weren't too far behind me.
I heard a familiar sound of rapids, but this was different.
There was a stone bridge, and a river. I've never seen this kind of bridge before. I turned back.
"V-" before F1 could say my name, he tripped. I held back from laughing. I crossed the bridge, and when I turned back, I was hit by something, from shoulder to shoulder. It blew me back maybe a couple of feet. It hurt like I was cut. I couldn't move.
"Why'd you do that?!" I heard F1.
"Well, I thought we were chasing someone." F2 said. Well he turned stupid.
F1 came over to me, and lifted my upper body up with one arm. Some of my hair covered my face.
"Are you okay?" He asked, and gave me my jacket.
"Yeah, just fine. See?" I looked up, and smiled.
The look on F2's face, was just priceless.
He turned away, and his face was red.
"That's not possible. You're not real. This is some kind of dream." He said.
"I'd kinda wish it were that too." F1 said. I punched him in the shoulder.
"Ouch! What was that for?!" He asked.
I crossed my arms. "Well if I'm not real then how does that hurt?" I said.
"I don't know, maybe your a ghost?" He said. "Maybe a Gastly is playing tricks on us." He said.
"Haha. Very funny. Have you noticed my grave recently?" I said.
"What?" F2 turned and looked at me.
"Yeah. You heard me! I had to dig my way out of the ground! Now if you don't think I'm real you can goddamn go to my grave!" I said.
"No." he said, and turned away. What?
I think F1 did something wrong. He brought F2 to me, probably thinking he would be happy, sad, or mad. Whatever.
I got up, but, there was a pain like lightning across my chest. I ignored it.
I just walked away, walking back to Olivia, and April. There was another spike of pain. I held my left shoulder.
"Vee, are you ok?" F1 asked.
"Yeah, just, hurt in more ways than one." I said.
I was over the stone bridge, and I was getting hot. Feverish.
F1 caught up with me. I was just over the small bridge, anyway. And I was moving kind of slow.
"Are you sure-" he put his hand on my shoulder, but took it off quickly.
"Yikes! Your shoulder is like boiling water." He said. I wouldn't be too surprised. It feels like how F1 hit me, well, it was an accident.
F2 walked past me, like I wasn't even there. He turned back.
"What? Can't keep up?" He said.
"Well, if I wasn't hit by your Water Shuriken in the first place, I'd be fine." I said. I feel like I've ran so much my heart is about to explode.
"Well, I don't blame him. I hit you in the beginning, right?"
