Epilogue
Brian hurled a rock across a stream. He was furious. After all his planning, and working to make his arrows by hand, Arswon, his traitor brother, had still made it away alive. And worse yet, Cassidy had saved him. He'd get her yet.
At least Mike had died. Brian supposed that that was only fair after breaking his heart. The girl had paid dearly.
A flash of light caught his eye. The boulder that he had thrown was now aflame.
The dancing flames called to him, and he grinned. What better way to commit murder than to burn your enemy?
