Chapter 3

Anthony's POV:

I go to my dressing room after talking to Jasmine.
She seems off, what if now isn't a good time to get engaged I mean I'm only 24. I get dressed for my role as John Laurens, I walk out of my dressing room and find Daveed standing outside.

"Did you need something?" I ask Daveed.

"Just making sure everything's ready for tonight. You ready?" Daveed asks.

"Yeah I think so. What if now isn't a good time? What if it's too early?" I ask him still nervous she's going to say no!

"Come on dude she loves you! There's no perfect time, but this is as close as you will ever get to perfect!" He says and pats me on the back.
"Come on we gotta start!" He says. I follow him to stage. I put all the nervousness in the back of my brain and focus on performing the best I can before the end.
Daveed is right there's no perfect time for anything, but we gotta make the time we have now the best we can!

-End of first act-

I wait in the back after getting ready for act 2 which I don't do a whole lot in besides die again.

Jasmine comes over to me and sits next to me.

"You ready for act 2?" She asks me.

"Yeah. You?" I ask her.

"Yeah I believe so." She says smiling. Seeing her smile reminds me of how much I love her.

After the last who lives who dies who tells your story is over we all head to take our finale bows!
My heart is racing I feel as if it will just explode, after everyone bows Lin looks at me as if saying it's time.

I look at Jasmine who is standing next to me.
I turn to her and get down on one knee I can hear everyone gasp.
"Jasmine Chepas Jones, I love you more then words or actions will ever be able to describe, but I want to spend the rest of my life trying to if you'll let me. You mean the world. Would you do me the honors of being my wife?"

Jasmine's POV:

This can't be happening I gasp as Anthony gets down on one knee!
No he doesn't know about the baby what if he doesn't want to marry me after I tell him. I can't say no in front of everyone. What do I say.
