Chapter 9

Anthony's POV:

Jasmine's about 20 weeks along we have our first ultrasound today.

"Hey Jaz you ready?" I ask her walking into our bedroom.

"Yeah I think so." She says walking over to me.

"Are you excited to see our baby?" I ask her excitedly.

Jasmine's POV:

"Yeah!" I reply I'm excited but also scared what if before when they couldn't find the heartbeat had something to do with me or the baby what if something was wrong with our baby before they were born. I put my hand on my stomach and hold Anthony's hand with my other hand as we walk down to the car. Anthony holds the car door open for me just like he always does. I kiss him quickly before getting in the car, I love him so much. I don't know how I got so lucky to get him.
He puts his hand on mine and one on the steering wheel.

We pull into the doctors office, we go in and sit down and wait for the doctor to come out.

"You guys can come on back." Dr. Bowen says as she walks out of the back to see us. We follow her back into the room we were in last time.
I sit down on the chair thing and Anthony stands next to me as we wait for her to start.

"This well be cold at first just like when we listened to your baby's heartbeat." She explained as she put cold gel onto my stomach and she places the tool onto my stomach looking at my baby.
"O-oh" she said to herself quietly but I heard her.

"What? Is something wrong?!" I ask scared.

"No nothing's wrong. It's just, your having twins." The Dr says moving the ultrasound thing around a little more.

"Twins!?" I say in complete shock. I look up at Anthony he has a scaredish look on his face.

"Yes, it doesn't make sense why it took so long to find just one heartbeat last time though. But there are definitely two babies in there. Here just let me print the ultrasound pictures." She said as she put the ultrasound away and handed Anthony and I the pictures. I just look at the pictures in awe I'm going to have twins.

"What do you think about this Anthony? Who've been extremely quiet." I ask him standing up.

"It's super exciting. But now I'm double as scared. We are barley prepared for 1 baby but two?" He explained

"Yeah but we'll figure out together!" I said smiling at him as we head out.
