Chapter 7

Anthony POV:

I squeeze Jasmine's hand a little tighter, trying to comfort her. As tears start to form in my eyes, how could this be happening? This isn't fair!

After like a minute we hear the small heartbeat Jasmine and I both let out a huge relieved sigh and look at each other and smile!

"Looks like your baby likes to play hide and go seek!" The dr told us I laugh a little.
I kiss the top of Jasmine's head.
We get up and head towards the door.

"So you can schedule another appointment for a 4 weeks or so and we can have your first ultrasound." Dr. Bowen says following us out of the room.

"That'd be perfect!" Jasmine says smiling.

"I guess I'll see you guys in a few weeks!" The dr says before heading back into the back. We walk up to the doctor assistants you help set up appointments.

"Hi, I'd like to set up an appointment for my first ultrasound!" Jasmine says to the lady as I stand next to her still holding her hand.

"Ok, does 4 weeks from today at 9am work for you?" The lady asks us.

"Yeah that'd be perfect!" Jasmine says smiling to the lady before we walk out of the doctors office.

"I love you so much!" I say to Jasmine.

"I love you too! Where you scared?" She asked me as we walked to our car.

"I was terrified!" I say opening her door before getting in myself and starting the car as we head to the theatre.

"Me too! I don't know what I would've done if we lost this baby!" She said putting her hands on her stomach.

"I don't either. I don't even want to think about it! That was so scary the thought of losing our child before they were even born, the thought alone could kill me!" I say pulling up to the theatre.

"Me too." Jasmine says.
