Tiny surprise

Cream's POV

I waked up by the sun shining in my face and I had to blink to get my eyes more awake. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I then looked tiredly around myself to figure out where I was and I realized that I weren't alone. Tails sat on the wing of the Tornado with his back turned against me. 'He is sleeping'
I sat up and noticed a blanket around me. 'Did Tails put this around me?' Did I know? No, not really. I looked at the golden orange fox on the wing of the plane. He did look peaceful. I decided to take a look around. What met my eyes at once was the ocean. That means we were on an Island.

Normal POV

Cream decided to take a look around and went to walk, but not that far. Afraid that a robot is waiting for her. She soon realized that the Island they landed on is quite peaceful. No robots so far, animals are walking around and the air is cool. Cream liked to be here. After looking for awhile, she found a little hut. Built of tree and was actually pretty cute. It seemed like it have been built for a long time ago, because the walls and the rooftop were filled with grass and moss. Outside of the hut it was some rusted robot parts and some other weird devices. The grass around the hut was long and reached up to Cream's socks. She heldt her hand on the door handle and opened slowly.
"It seemed like you have found my little home, eh?"
The voice was familiar, but scared Cream so much that she nearly jumped of surprise. She turned around and saw Tails leaning against a tree nearby and looking at her. He walked up to her and looked at the hut. "Jeez. It looks smaller than I thought..."
Cream looked at him of surprise. "Your little home?" Her eyes couldn’t hide how surprised she was and how much Cream wanted to know and find out. Tails only chuckled and looked at Cream. "Quite funny, huh? I buildt it around the age of 11"
'Only five years ago...' Cream thought. "Well, let's look inside" He said as he walked in the little hut. Cream followed him and it wasn't that much inside. A table with a computer, tiny kitchen space and a lot of other mechanical stuff Cream had no idea about. But it was intressing when she found a little robot figure who looked like a cat. "Tails? What is this?" Cream pointed at the little robot cat. He came to her and sat in his knees beside her. "Hey. That's C-cat. An unfinished pet project of mine. Didn't have the time to finish her because... something happened." Tails smiled by seeing her again. Cream only giggled. 'He really must love robots'

By seeing C-cat again, Tails started fixing her up. He already had all the tools he needed in his hut, so it was no problem in doing it. Cream was really interessed in how he did it, so she sat in s chair beside him. Not that she had anything better to do anyways. Seeing all the screwdriving and some melting tools beside him. The main-chip was the one that was interessing to watch. Tails had to download a few things, then apply and screw things in place. 'It looks so complicated. But Tails make it look so easy' Cream were thinking and helped Tails get some new tools for him. Knowing Cream though... She was a bit clumsy. She tripped over one of the cable on the floor and fell forwards. "Eep!" Knowing Tails, he was quick at reacting, so he got up and cought her in his arms. Cream looked up at him and blushed a bit. 'Again Cream!' Tails only chuckled and brought her up to her feet. "Well this seemes familiar" He looked her in the eyes and Cream could see a little blush there. But probably because they were unconfortably close to each other. Cream took a step back and blushed more. "Sorry!" She looked down of shame. 'Gee... She is really careful. It's like everytime she does something wrong or is just a little clumsy, it's like I am going to hurt her for it... I guess the bullying pay off" He walked to her and lifted her head up with his thumb and point finger, so he could see her face. "Cream. It's fine. Stuff like this happens. You're clumsy, so what? No harm done" He smiled warmly to her and took the tools she heldt in her hand and got back to fixing C-cat.

Cream didn't want to see Tails work anymore. She was basically really scared that he would get angry at her for being so clumsy, but he didn't. His reaction surprised her so much that she didn't say anything. It was only late afternoon and she had nothing to do. She sat and watched the waves on the tiny beach. They haven't been gone for long, but Cream already missed her friends and family at home. She were too shy to tell Tails though. Scared as if he were going to be a little pissed. 'But, he have no use for me, now that he have the necklace.' Something got her out of her thoughts. It was a sound of a, meow?

C-cat sat beside Cream and purred while stroking her head to Cream's side. A second after, Tails came flying up to them and landed beside her. "Jeez. I only turned the button on and she immideatly ran to you. I guess she likes ya" Tails smiled and patted C-cat's head. Making her purr more. She was a light gray cat with dark grey ears, tip of her paws and tail. With a little pink nose. Cream smiled too and she reminded her of Cheese too. "Do you want to keep her?" He looked at Cream and smiled. She looked at him back and widened her eyes.
"R-really? After all the time you have spent by fixing her up. You are just giving her away?"
Cream looked upset, but she didn't mind letting a robotic cat into her life. "Well, why not? I can tell that she likes you. And you are already her owner. Just ask her" He smiled and pointed at C-cat. Cream asked an she replied. "Cream the rabbit" She said with words. Cream were stunned and looked surprised at her and Tails. "A pet can't be seperated from their owner for long" He smiled and so did she.
Cream picked up C-cat and looked at Tails. "Tails?"
He gave a simple reply "Hm?"
"I-I want to go home..."
He looked at her for awhile and thought. Then he smiled.
"I thought you would say that sometime"

"Hehe. That's great. Now I have something to take care of" Said the dark shadow behind the trees as he/she left the spot to find what it was looking for.
