Mara's POV

"Where are you going again?" Drew asked me at the kitchen table.

"I'm going to the beach with Lacey, I told you think like 10 times." I said laughing.

"Oh yeah. I forgot. What are you guys doing there?" Drew asked with suspicion in his eyes.

"Just hanging out." I lied. If he knew we were drinking, he would have my head.

"Does that explain the alcohol in the back of your car?" Wesley asked not making eye contact. I stared at him with wide eyes.

"What?" Drew asked looking confused.

"Nothing, it's just stuff Lacey left at dad's place." I assured him. I didn't want to worry him about me drinking.

"You better be sober when you get home." Drew said with a stern voice.

"I will be." I said winking at him.

We all left the table and went our own ways. I went to my room to grab my stuff for the beach and went downstairs to the front door. I grabbed my keys from my bag and headed out the door. I unlocked the car door and went to the drivers side.

Wesley's POV

Where was she going? She's definitely going to be drinking tonight. You can't have that much alcohol in your car and not drink it like seriously.

"Aren't you worried dude?" I asked Drew as he was watching TV in the living room.

"I trust her. If you don't trust her than why don't you follow her." He said with hope in his eyes.

"What the fuck, no thats weird." I said sitting down beside him.

"I'm kidding. I'm really happy you changed. Like a month ago you apparently hated my sister and now you're crushing hard." He said smirking.

"I have a weird way of showing my feelings.." I said awkwardly not wanting to talk about it.

"Have you been going to that therapist about your anger?" He asked looking at me.

"Yeah.. can we talk about something else please.." I said scratching my forehead.

"I'm just making sure dude. Don't want you going off the deep end again." He said punching my shoulder.

"I think I'm gonna go upstairs.. You're being weird." I said running towards the stairs.

"Come on! We're just talking like normal people!" He yelled after me.

I ignored his comment and went into my room. I decided to play some X-Box for a while. I have nothing else to do.

MARA'S POV

I drove my car to the beach with all of my things in the back. I parked the car and saw Lacey standing there smiling with her bag slung over her shoulder. I got out of the car and smiled.

"The Stang is back! WOOT WOOT!" She yelled and I laughed as I locked the door and walked towards her. She swung her arm around my shoulder and we walked towards the beach together.

"So, how's the life with the boys?" Lacey asked with a half smile.

"It's okay. I have more cleaning to do since they don't know how to apparently." I said as we put our towels on the sand and sat down.

"That's the worst. Well at least you're away from your dad now." She said and all the memories came back at once. I was silent for a few moments but then I snapped myself out of it.

"Uh- yeah. Anyways, what do you want to drink?" I asked her pulling all of the drinks out of my bag.

"I'll start with something easy." She said as she reached for one of the breezers.  I smiled and gabbed one myself. We both opened them and clanked the bottles together and took a huge gulp.
