MARA'S POV

They just left for the hospital and I have never felt like such shit. I saw the burns on his arms. There were a lot and I couldn't help but feel like it was my fault because I've been stupid and I haven't acknowledged that we did resolve things between us. I've been so unfair to him. He's right. I am worse than he ever was to me.

I walked to my room and sat on my bed. I was thinking about what I should say to him when he gets back. He probably won't even want to see me after all of the hurtful things I said to him. I'm such a fucking idiot.

I look at my phone but I had no notifications. I've been trying to get ahold of Lacey but she hasn't returned any of my calls and she wouldn't accept visitors in the hospital. I wonder why she's avoiding me. She probably realized that I was a piece of shit and wanted nothing to do with me either. That's all I think right now. I hate myself for not giving Wesley a chance. I just turned on him in cold blood.

I decided to get my mind off of things and watch some TV. I walk into the living room and plop myself down onto the couch. I turn the TV on and The Ellen Degenres show comes on. I watch her show for a little bit and then I switch the channel. I wasn't even paying attention to the shows I kept flipping through. I just wanted to make things right with Wesley. He suffers from anger and depression and I know how that feels and to think that I drove him over the edge makes me sick.

WESLEY'S POV

We pulled up to the hospital and Keaton got out of the passenger side and opened the door for me. I tumbled out onto my feet. I kept myself hid inside my hood. I slowly walk up to the doors with Keaton as Drew parks the car. We go to the front desk and Keaton asks for a nurse. A nurse with blonde hair comes to us and asks what she can do. I didn't want to just show her my arms out in the open. Keaton saw the uneasy look on my face and asked the nurse if we could go somewhere private.

She nodded and lead us into a small room with a bed. She asks what she can help us with and I lift both of my sleeves up. She gasps and gently takes both of my arms into her hands.

"Oh, sweetie.." She said as she examined the burns.

"He just got wound up with the wrong people." Keaton said knowing that I didn't want people to know I did this to myself.

"Poor guy." She said as she grabbed a bottle of rubbing alcohol and some gauze. It's nothing new.

"This is gonna sting a bit." She said as she poured some rubbing alcohol onto my arms. I wince in pain and gently pull my arm back. She keeps a tight grip on my arm and continues to clean the burns. She puts the bottle down and grabs the roll of gauze. She gently wraps it around my arms and in 20 minutes she is finally done. I pull my sleeves down and get up. Keaton thanks the nurse as he pats me on the back.

"We need to talk to your doctor about your meds while we are here." He said as he lead me towards my doctor's office. We walk down the white hallways and eventually reach the office. Keaton knocks on the door and we wait as we here someone moving around on the other side of the door. The door opens and that all to familiar face appears.

"Oh, hello Keaton. Wesley." He said as he steps aside and allows us inside. I walk inside and sit in one of the chairs.

"What can I do for you on this fine evening?" He asked as he took a seat on the opposite side of us.

"Well, those pills that you prescribed Wesley, well he hasn't been taking them and he put himself in some serious danger tonight, hence why we are here." Keaton said as he looked over at me.

I looked at the floor and felt both of their eyes on me. I hated this so much.

"Oh.. may I ask what he did to put himself in some serious danger.? Wesley, can you tell me what you did to put yourself in danger's way?" He asked looking at me. I looked up at him slowly. I make eye contact with him.

"I- uh- I burned myself... over.. and over again." I said getting quieter as I said it.

"I see. What was on your mind?" He asked gently prying. I didn't want to answer that. I didn't want to answer anyones questions at the moment. I remained silent.

"If you don't feel comfortable talking to me, then I can recommend an awesome councillor." He said as he took out his note pad. I was about to object, but Keaton interrupted me.

"Yes, he will start seeing a councillor." He said looking at me with gentle eyes. I huffed in frustration.

"Okay. Here is his contact information. I will let him know that he should be expecting a call from you soon." He said as he ripped a piece a paper form his note pad and handed it to Keaton. He looked over it and stuffed it into his pocket.

"Now, about those pills." He said as he crossed his arms. I looked up at him and then looked back at the ground. I know I wouldn't be able to make any decisions here.

"Now that I have seen how bad his condition can get, I've decided to prescribe him new ones that are a bit stronger than the ones he was on before. The only thing is, he HAS to HAS to take them in order for them to work. So, I recommend that either you or Drew hold on to them and each morning you have to make sure he takes one." He said as he pulled out his prescription pad. He scribbled the drug name onto the piece of paper and then handed the paper to Keaton. Keaton took it and put it in his pocket.

"Take that to the pharmacist down the hall and it should be a 20 minute wait." He said as he sat back down into his chair.

"Awesome, thank you so much Doctor William. It means a lot." Keaton said as he shook his hand.

"You're welcome. I'm glad to help. Please get better Wesley." He said as he nodded his head towards me. I slowly nodded my head and walked out the door.

I followed Keaton to the pharmacist. He gave the woman the piece of paper and she told him to wait for 20 mins. He nodded his head and lead me to the waiting room. We sat down and I sank in my chair.

I can't wait for this night to be over already.

MARA'S POV

I was watching The Lion King until the front door opened. I got up and walked to the door. I saw Wesley, Keaton, and Drew walk through the door. Wesley looked terrible. He kicked off his shoes and then he looked at me as I looked at him with sympathy. He scoffed and ran up the stairs.

I huffed and looked at Drew. He shrugged his shoulders and walked into the living room. Keaton avoided my stare and ran up the stairs also. I joined Drew on the couch as both of our eyes watched the screen.

"I don't even know what to say to him." I said as I ran my hair through my hair.

"Maybe start by saying sorry?" He said in a sarcastic tone. I looked over at him and glared. I got up and made my way up the stairs. I walked dow the hallway and towards the closed door of Wesley's bedroom. I approached the door and knocked.

"What!" He hisses. I jumped as his voice scared me.

"Uh- it's me.. Can I come in?" I ask hoping he will say yes. There was a silence and then a shuffling.

I wait and the door slowly opens and his face is revealed. I see his face and he looked like a wreck. I took in his appearance before I looked into his eyes.

"Uh- how are you doing?" I asked in a hushed tone. He smirked and then looked at me.

"If you're here to say sorry, save it because I don't want to hear it right now." He said as he slammed the door in my face. My eyes widen and I slowly back away from the door and make my way down the hallway towards the stairs. I make it to the living room and sit back down beside Drew.

"That went well." He said as he scrolled on his phone.

"Shut up." I said as I closed my eyes and let them rest.

I had a lot of work to do before me and Wes could ever be friends again.

I need my memories back.

That's what I really need right now...
