My name is Do Kyungsoo. I am just like any other boy. Completely normal. I have never hurt anybody. I have never done anything wrong. But why do they hurt me?

"Yah, guys, would you look at that?"

"Woohoo!"

"Our boy is finally coming."

Some bad voices were heard.

I ignored them.

"Yah. Who the hell you think you are, huh? Look at me, you brat!"

I tried to run away.

"Ha! don't think you're gonna get away from us! Hey Kris, seems like this kid needs a lesson from us." They chuckled.

They easily carried away my small figure. I struggled to break loose, but there were too many of them.

"What do you want from me?!" I finally spoke up. "Let. Me. GO!"

"What? You wanna go? Sure, we'll let you go!"

They dumped my body on the hard ground like I was a bag of trash. They started to beat me, kick me, and I knew that I couldn't do anything. As always, I just had to accept it quietly and without protest. They continued to beat me till they were satisfied, and they left.

I was still lying on the ground, blood dripping from the corner of my mouth. I knew I had to skip school that day. No way in hell would I have gone to class like that. I pushed myself forward, trudging alone through a park, looking around, wondering. I still remember their words. "You better not be going around telling anyone about this. I repeat, you tell anyone, you're gonna get it worse from us!"

Why had my life become like this? I had no friends; they wouldn't involve me for fear of being bullied, too.

I hated this. I hated myself. I hated the world.

Things never changed. The next day, they beat me up again. And again. And again. That day, I tiptoed across the hall to my bedroom. I didn't want Mom see me like this because my mom and I had gradually become distant. I always avoided looking her in the eye because I was scared of her seeing me like this ㅡ bruises and scars all over. Ever since my dad had passed away, my mom worked hard to support me. I couldn't burden her further with my problems.

"Kyungsoo?" Oh shit. It was her. "Kyungsoo? Is that you? Please come here. I need to talk to you about something."

What should I do?

"Mom, I'm tired. I..." Before I could finish, she pulled me into her arms, looking into my eyes with deep concern.

"Oh my God! Kyungsoo! What happened to you? You face, your body... Oh my God, please tell me, is this why you always avoid me? Please say something, Kyungsoo!" She almost shouted. I had never seen her like this with her worry and deep concern obvious on her face.

I was speechless. Suddenly, I felt a tear drop on my cheek, and my mom quickly embraced me. I cried. It was the first time I'd cried ever since I got bullied. I told her everything. Every single thing.

-The next day at a cafe-

"I don't want you to continue going to that horrible school again. I will move you to another school." Kyungsoo's mom firmly spoke. Her face was serious.

"What's the point? I'm gonna get bullied again no matter which school I'm in," he responded.

"No you won't. This time, I've already planned something. Remember your uncle? He's now the principal of a school. That's where I'm moving you to."

Kyungsoo saw his uncle entering the cafe and approaching their table. He was wearing a pair of glasses and a casual outfit. Not at all like a principal.

"Hey Uncle Suho, nice meeting you again. It's been a long time." Kyungsoo's mom greeted him and bowed. Kyungsoo followed suit.

"Yes indeed. Hey, Kyungsoo," he greeted with a smile. It had been a long time since he last saw him. "I heard about you. I'm sorry." Suddenly his face was down.

Kyungsoo just nodded. The last thing he needed was pity.

"Well, I can arrange him into my school. It's easy. I'm just worried that he's gonna get bullied again, because... Well... All schools are the same," Uncle Suho explained to her.

"Then what should we do? I don't want my son to..." She stopped there. Kyungsoo could see that she was trying hard not to cry, and it really broke his heart.

"I really don't have any idea." Uncle Suho also felt bad.

Suddenly, a crazy idea popped out of Kyungsoo's mind after a long silence, and his eyes widened.

"What if I become a girl?" Kyungsoo suggested casually as if it was no big deal.

Uncle Suho choked on his own saliva.

"What the fuck?!" Uncle Suho suddenly cursed. "Oh my god, I'm sorry for my words. Bad Suho, Bad Suho." He slapped his own mouth. He had never cursed before.

"But why?" She asked. It was too weird and unacceptable .

"Well, boys don't bully girls." Simple and compact. Kyungsoo came out with the idea because he just didn't care about his life anymore. He didn't care how it was gonna be. He just wanted it to roll peacefully.

"There's no way I'm gonna let you do that," his mother finally said. "It's impossible."

"I'm sorry, Mom. If only there was another way... But I can't seem to find any." Kyungsoo's face fell down. He too knew his request was almost illogical .

"But even if I agree with this, this is against the law," she added. She really hoped Kyungsoo would change his mind.

"I know, but please tell me. Tell me what I should do." Kyungsoo's eyes glazed. Seeing them really broke her heart.

"I know I'm not a part of the government or anything, but I think I can pull it off," Suho suddenly said. At first, he too couldn't accept Kyungsoo's decision, but seeing the mother and son somehow touched his heart; he wanted to help them.

"Can you do that?" His mom asked Suho. She too couldn't find any other resolution.

Suho fell silent for a second. "I guess, but are you serious?" He asked again for confirmation.

"Yes," Kyungsoo said, sure about his plan.

"But for how long? Like it or not, you're a boy, and nothing can change that." She stared deep into her son's eyes, hoping he would change his mind

"Yes, I know I can't change who I am. But don't worry, Mom. I'll only be in disguise in high school, and only to avoid bullies. After that, I'll change back. You can trust me." Kyungsoo promised his mom.

-2 days later-

Uncle Suho really fulfilled his promise. He had a friend who worked for the government that helped him, and he created Kyungsoo's new ID with the name 'Do Kyung Mi'. Kyungsoo bought a wig. His mom put some makeup on him. And there he was. For other people, the situation might have been funny, but it wasn't for them. His mom really cared about him. God, he loved her so much.

And now he's currently living his days at EXO High School. For the first time in his life, it's going well. He still has no friends, but at least he's not getting bullied, so it's fine. So far, no one has ever known his real identity. Only his mom and Uncle Suho.

It goes smoothly until that one destined day when he foolishly forgets to wear his underwear.
