-Chanyeol's POV-

Why is she doing this to me? Why is she avoiding me? Did I do something wrong? She hasn't showed up at school. She hasn't picked up her phone. Every time I go to her house, it's always empty. I've called her a thousand times, but there's no reply. Doesn't she know how worried I am?

I'm dying, for God's sake.

-Third person POV-

Everyday, Chanyeol waits for Kyungsoo at the school gate. Waits for him to come. Waits for him to explain. He never loses hope. It's been so long since he's seen his smile. He, too, didn't smile.

But this time, Kyungsoo is already there, staring at Chanyeol sitting the school's gate. Seems like he's waiting for me, Kyungsoo thinks. Guilt spreads over his heart. He shouldn't do this to Chanyeol. Chanyeol is innocent. Chanyeol is just a victim of his lies. Kyungsoo just keeps staring at him, frozen.

Suddenly, Chanyeol turns around, and their eyes lock. Both of them flinch back. Chanyeol eyes widen before he runs, sprints, towards Kyungsoo.

"Kyung Mi-ssi! Are you sick? Why haven't you been coming? Why you didn't you pick up your phone? I went to your house everyday, but you were never there. Do you know how worried I was? Why did you do this to me? Please answer me!" Chanyeol hugs Kyungsoo as if he'll disappear if he lets go.

Kyungsoo just stays silent. His eyes are glazed, and he knows his tears are going to drip any second.

"Kyung Mi, answer me!" Chanyeol raises his voice for the first time.

Kyungsoo still stays silent. Then he pulls Chanyeol's arm and drags him towards to the library. There's nobody there. Perfect.

"Why're we here? Kyung Mi, please say something. Your silence is killing me," Chanyeol shouts, cupping Kyungsoo's face, needing him to explain.

"I'm sorry." Kyungsoo's voice barely comes out. He can't speak. It's too hard.

"What? You didn't do anything wrong. Why? Please tell me. I love you so much, so please don't do this."

"Chanyeol, stop saying you love me!" Hearing Chanyeol's words makes him feel guiltier and guiltier with each second. He needs to put a stop to it before it kills him.

"I won't stop! For the rest of your life, I'll keep telling you that I love you, always. And there's nothing you can do to stop me. I love you, Kyung Mi," Chanyeol insists. Chanyeol knows his love is right. He knows his love for Kyungsoo is pure and not just a high school love.

"I lied to you, okay? I don't love you! I never did! I'm just using you!" Kyungsoo screams and lies. His eyes are bright red.

"Wha....?" Chanyeol freezes. Kyungsoo's words are... unacceptable.

"Listen, everything about me is a lie. Every word I've ever said, it's all just a big lie! I never loved you, Chanyeol!"

Kyungsoo burns Chanyeol's heart with his words.

"I don't understand. You said..." Chanyeol can't swallow all things Kyungsoo just said.

"Forget everything I said before. I don't love you, and that's it!" Kyungsoo is so determined with this plan.

"But why now? Why after three months? Three months, for God's sake!" The fire in Chanyeol's heart starts to show its flames.

"Because you were right. I'm not a girl. You're right! I'm a boy!" Kyungsoo feels some weight lift off of his heart.

Chanyeol freezes, speechless. His mind can't process it. It's too much and too heavy.

"You're lying, right? There's no way..." Chanyeol stops when he sees Kyungsoo.

Kyungsoo takes off his wig. For the first time, Chanyeol sees Kyungsoo. The real Do Kyungsoo. No more Do Kyung Mi, the long-haired cute girl he loved before. The girl never existed in the first place .

"Do you believe me now? I'm not a girl, and I never will be! I'm just dating you so people won't know. I don't love you."

Proof is right in front of his eyes. Kyungsoo is telling the truth. Now it's up to Chanyeol.

"I can't believe this..." Chanyeol is so disappointed. He doesn't want to believe it. He still can't believe this. It's too fast for him to take.

"Well, you gotta believe it, cause it's true."

Kyungsoo seems satisfied. Then he feels something both warm and painful at the same time.

Chanyeol slaps Kyungsoo, hard. Kyungsoo flinches. The hit doesn't hurt nearly as much as when he was getting bullied, but it shatters him inside. He rubs his red cheek. Before he even moves, Chanyeol grabs Kyungsoo's collar, almost making him choke.

"Don't ever show your fucking face to me again. I'll fucking kill you."

With that, Chanyeol leaves Kyungsoo there and never turns back. He leaves with his precious tears dripping on his cheeks. He can't believe that this is the end. The end of his first love. Chanyeol is done.

Kyungsoo breaks down. He cries and cries and cries again. After some moments, he puts on his wig again and walks, unbalanced, to the principal's office. He ignores all the students that look at him with his messy hair, red puffy eyes, and swollen cheeks.

Knock knock knock.

"Come in." Kyungsoo can hear his uncle from inside the room.

Kyungsoo opens the door and sits in front of him.

"Kyungsoo, why are your eyes... Are you crying? What happened? Did you get bullied again?" Uncle Suho concernedly asked him.

"No."

"Then why..."

"I want to quit school." Kyungsoo snaps and just tells him.

"Huh? Why? You wanna move again?"

"No. I want to quit school. Forever. It's useless for me. It's just hell. I don't want to step in a school ever again." Kyungsoo makes up his mind.

"But..."

"Just do whatever needs to be done. I'm quitting. Please get all the paperwork ready, because I'm not coming again."

"Y-y-yes."

Kyungsoo lied. Everything he told Chanyeol was a lie. He loves him. He loves him so much He just... he'll rather Chanyeol hate him than be hurt by the reality that he fell in love with a boy. With him. People like Kyungsoo deserve to be hated.

Kyungsoo needs to move on.

No more Kyung Mi .

He's going to start a new life, a new chapter.

And Chanyeol... He'll serve as a great life lesson.

He will always love Chanyeol, even though Chanyeol hates him.

Kyungsoo will always cherish this love forever.

He will always cherish Chanyeol forever.

Goodbye, Park Chanyeol.

Goodbye, my first love.
