Dani's PoV

The past week has been a little crazy. Elena and Stefan broke up, Caroline was spying for Katherine and I was bored out of my mind.

I was currently sat with Damon at the Salvatore boarding house, when someone knocked on the door.

Damon moves to answer it and I follow. He opens it to reveal Jeremy.

"I need to talk to you," Jer states, glancing at us.

Damon just glares at him, "and why do I need to talk to you?"

"Tyler Lockwood has to kill someone to activate his curse," Jer announces, "he's not a werewolf yet."

I glance at him, I knew this due to my mother's letter. But I wasn't gonna let on that I knew.

"Wow. Fascinating. Not enough," Damon says, attempting to close the door.

Jeremy slams his hand on the door stopping him, "But Mason Lockwood is, and he's looking for a moon stone--a special connected to the werewolf curse. That's why he is here."

"Moon stone?" I ask.

"And I know where it is," Jer says to us.

"And you're bringing me this why?" Damon questions.

"Do I need a reason?" Jer retorts, "look I just want to help, ok?"

"I understand Jer, but whatever happens to you is not on me," I say.

"What did Elena say about this little Discovery?" Damon asks him.

"Oh, you haven't told her, have you?" Damon taunts.

"Damon, shut it! If Jer wants to help then he can help," I say.

Jer looks relieved.

"But if Elena finds out, I'm not going to protect you from her," I finish.

He sighs, but nods in response.

Damon finally let's Jeremy in and we all go to the living room.

Moments later Rick walks through the door.

"Rick," Damon greets.

"Yeah," Rick causally responds.

He walks over and notices Jeremy.

"What are you doing here?" He asks.

"He's helping me and Damon. But don't worry I'm keeping an eye out for him," I say.

"What do you have on the moonstone?" Damon asks, changing the subject.

"I have Isobel's research from Duke. Her assistant sent it to me," Alaric states.

I nod.

"Do you remember the old Aztec curse she told us about?" He asks.
