Chapter 12

I pulled her closer as I had slammed my lips onto hers. I felt little hands beating at my chest but I had paid no mind to it until I realised Sophia was trying to push me away. I moved away from her and looked her in the eye "Do you not like me?" her eyes cast to her feet and she sook her head no. I lifted her chin "Say it to my face Sophia" she looked up at me "I don't have anything to tell you Mr Adrian" I glare at her "Tell me Sophia" She looks everywhere but me "I want to go out with you for 1 date and I promise you won't regret it." She mutters something under her breath that I couldn't make out.

She had walked off and retreated into her room leaving me staring at her backside as she swayed, my vision was cut off by a slam of door indicating she was not going to answer my question. I thought of something. A grin takes over my face as I start calling people.

As soon as they arrive and start to unload all the products I had started to feel the excitement build inside me waiting for her reaction. I start designing my self. I had always hated how I had gotten my mothers interior design knowledge but at this moment right now I felt proud. First I had started off with the stairs hoping I wouldn't catch them on fire because of the candles I was putting on the side of the wall. I put one on every stair lighting up each one so she knows her path down. I then start to empty all the fresh red rose petals I had ordered and put them evenly on each stair case. As I finished that I started on the dinner table.

I put the table where it needed to be then I stared organising it. I started off by putting a white tablecloth then adding a black material that was like a chalk board but felt like soft fabric. I pit it in the middle and started writing the menu on it randomly. As soon as I had finished writing it I started to add the utensils for the dinner, while I was doing all this I had to keep making sure Sophia wouldn't come down or I would stuff up this surprise dinner. I sprinkled a bit of roses on the table and put a line of candles in the middle. I then set the played 2 on top of each other which a cup of a rose. I then put a wine cup for each person and a water cup. I made sure everything was straight and ready then I set up the spoons and forks with a knife. I made sure that each chair had been straightened up accordingly to the table. I did my finishing touches and then moved onto preparing the food.

I ended up making something every person would like well what everyone should like. I made beef burgers with the usual burger things and crispy hot chips on the side but my personal favourite is the pizza I made. The pizza had capsicum, olives, mushroom, tomato topped off with melted cheese and tomato paste at the bottom. Once I set them on the table I headed for the lounge room to make the call to Emma letting her know not to come home and to stay somewhere which she of course agreed to due to her wanting her best friend and I together.

Once I finish from the phone call I grab the dress I want Sophia to wear and make my way up to her room, knocking on the door. She looks at wide wide eyes as if she didn't expect me to be at her door. She mumbles a small 'Hi' and looks at my hands confused. "Sophia I would like you to wear these clothes and meet me downstairs and please just don't argue back just do what I say" She nods her head slowly, smiling slightly.

After about 20 minutes I hear the padding of soft feet on the stairs. I make my way to the end of stairs and wait for her to appear. As soon as she appears my jaw falls open while I openly check her out. She had worn the creme dress with black bulky necklace making the dress look simple and classic. Her hair was in waves outlining her face.

I grabbed her hand and kissed the back of it softly "Sophia" she looks around and then back at me "What is this?" I look at her "This is our date" I say with confidence, once I say that she takes her out of mine and looks around one again assessing the place "I thought I made it clear I didn't want to go on a date" She breathes in deeply and I look at her "Why?" She plays with her dress "Because you didn't ask me first of all and second of all you think you can just do what you want at this place but you can't! How about if Emma walks through that do-" I cut her off "I already asked and told Emma" I exclaim.

I rub my hands over my face frustratingly "Sophia lets make a deal ok? Sit down , have dinner with me and see how it goes and at the end you can choose what you want and I'll leave you alone ok?" She nods her head 'yes'.

I walk her over to her chair and pull out her chair and let her get comfy. "How about 20 questions?" I ask and she mumbles "Sure".

"Fave movie?" She asks
"The blind side, you?"
"Harry potter"
"Nice, Fave colour?"
"Hm pink and grey, you?"
"Green and black"

We had finished our dinner which she loved and it made me so proud of my self.We went  on and on about so much things I felt like I knew her whole life story while all I new were her basic things she likes for example how she loves to watch reruns of movies or tv series every time she gets free time or how she loves to bake.

I get down on one knee and hold her hands together "Sophia I know we don't know each other very well but I would like to ask you this, don't freak out you can always answer later but not to late and don't worry I'm not proposing! .. yet anyways Sophia will you do the honour of becoming my girlfriend?..
