Chapter 13

*Sophia Pov*
The sparks that had flew when his lips were on mine was the best feeling I had ever had, Im not saying it because he was my first kiss but what I had just felt was incredible and I wish I can rewind and have another chance to keep the kiss going on longer. I touch my lips, still feeling the sparks on my lips and the butterflies in my stomach.

I look back at him as he says the next few words that send me into a state of shock. My mouth opened and closed like a fish not knowing what to reply. I gape at him in shock. I whisper inaudibly "Be your girlfriend?" He nods his head 'Yes'. I grind my teeth together, "You think because of all this surprise date and the roses will make me agree to be your girlfriend are you insane!?!" I swallow "I may like you a lot but that does not mean I will risk my self getting hurt for a heartless playboy." He seethes and looks me in the eyes "Say it while looking in my eyes that you don't want to be my girlfriend." I look everywhere and grumble under my breath.

I was seated in my room thinking of what I just did. When he had asked me to be his girlfriend I had bolted out of the living room and ran up to my room. I looked around the room thinking about the new upgrade I needed, ever since we moved in I had wanted to start designing my room. My room had already been painted a soft peachy colour which made it easier for me to pick a colour which was a gold and creamy type of colour. I jumped onto the internet and started skimming through furniture stores. When my eyes stopped at a queen type of bed with a beautiful bed head which suited the peach colours, after looking more I had made my choice of buying that bed with a chandelier which I would put in the middle of the room rather then above the bed and I decided on a soft gold and creamy thin material for the curtain. I also bought a creamy mirror which had enough room for my perfumes below on it. I had decided on a gold chair which I put in the corner near the curtain and mirror. I then ordered the carpet that matches the colour scheme. Once they had arrived I had put them how I imagined it and it had turned out better then I expected. Ace had slipped come upstairs once he saw the delivery guys and helped me to put the bed together while I was busy putting everything how I wanted it. I looked at the difference between my old and new bedroom which made my smile turn into the biggest grin. I looked at my room and tapped my shoulder at how good it looked. I beamed at Ace and didn't know what I was doing until I realised I was embracing him. His perfume invaded my senses as his hands wrapped around me. I let go of him and my cheeks redden from embarrassment as I mumble "Thanks for helping me." He nods his head in acknowledgment and leaves the room without a word. I puff out a breath and the grin took over my face again as my gaze falls back at the room.

I leave my room and go downstairs to watch re-runs of "Pretty little liars" starting from the first season. Before I start the tv I make caramel popcorn. When I re-enter the lounge room,I am surprised at who is sitting on the couch. "Uh Ace I'm gonna watch 'Pretty little liars' and I doubt your into it" I say.
"I'm not here to watch that, I'm here to watch someone else" He responds. I blush at what he says and make myself comfortable on the couch,I put the popcorn between us.

An hour and a half later, my head is on Ace's shoulder while his hands are around me. I look up at him and see that he is already staring at me. I blush and turn my face around. "Sophia"He whispers with his husky accent, I look at him "Yes?" He looks into my eyes and murmurs "Whats your answer?" I look everywhere "I need to do something I forgot to do" I say as I start to get up but I'm pulled down by a hand around my wrist. I try pulling my wrists from him. "Sophia" he growls lowly "Sit down!" I gape at him as its the first time he growls at me. I shake my head 'No'. He stands up and pulls me into his embrace. He forces his lips onto mine and thats when sparks fly for the second time today and instinctively my hands wrap around his neck as he pulls me closer, I respond with the same need. Then as if fate didn't want us to kiss, the door flies open with Emma looking like shes about to attack someone, with tears streaming down her face. Of course Ace and I leap from each other like nothing happened. I look back at Ace to find his hair everywhere reminding me of the kiss and how I kept tugging on his hair. Red takes over my cheeks and I bolt off to Emma pulling her into a hug. "Hey, what happened, are you hurt did someone do anything to you?" She looks into my eyes, hurt evident in her eyes "He cheated on me" she mumbles and I gasp at her words. Emma had started dating a guy a few weeks ago and she had told me how perfect he was and she thought he was the one. "Are you sure?" She nods her head 'Yes'. "Awe sweetie that just means he doesn't deserve someone as good as you" She nods her head 'Yes' "How about we go eat ice-cream, chips and pig out" She nods her head 'Yes' again and I seat her down on the couch while I go to grab the junk. I find Ace sitting their and once I enter his head meets my eyes and I walk past him grabbing everything that I said I would. I reach up for the chips and go on my tippy toes to reach them but I fail. I feel breath his breath fan my neck "Just remember Sophia that your mine weather you agree to be my girlfriend or not"He whispers, while giving me the chips.
