Ethan and I walk down the path of the cemetery, bickering about which movie we should watch when we got home. I liked this. We were slowly getting back to our old selves; our pre-disaster selves.

"How dare you? Jonah King is gorgeous!" I say in a serious tone. I slap his arm and he erupts into laughter. My face breaks out into a smile and I giggle. We reach Ethan's car and we get into our seats still laughing under our breaths.

"Hey, I had fun," he says after a little while, as we head over to my house for a movie marathon.

I grin at at him and nod.

"Kinda ironic though since it's a cemetery and all," he says and grows quiet.

I bite my lip. This just got hella awkward.

"But hey, wouldn't she be glad you're moving on and living your life? Like she said in the letter?" I point out, and he cracks a sad smile. "Yeah."

We're quiet again for a while. He looks deep in his thoughts and I don't want to interrupt him.

A drop of water landed on my window. Rain. I turned to Ethan and grabbed his arm.

"Dude! It's raining!" He starts and clutches a fist to his heart while his other hand maneuvers the steering wheel to control the car.

I start singing "For the First Time in Forever" from Frozen and Ethan joins in. He sounds like a dying seal, honestly. I start laughing so much that tears star spilling from my eyes and my chest starts to hurt. I'm taking tiny breaths of air, trying to steady my lungs, when I glance over at Ethan. He looks so lost and confused as to why I'm laughing, that I start all over again. And let me tell you, it hurts. Don't laugh, kids. Stay depressed. Actually, never mind, I never said that.

Ethan parks the car in the driveway of my apartment building, which is a red brick building, with windowsills and outdoor fire escapes and all. It's only three stoties with three apartments, so there were no elevators.

Unfortunately, because I had to carry my heavy textbooks and Mom had to carry loads of grocery bags up three flights of stairs.

Ethan looks at me with a crazy and childish grin on his face. I nod at him. I know what he's thinking. We count to three then jump out of the car, squaling and laughing as the ice cold droplets hit us and soak us to the bones.

We play around for awhile. Hide and seek. Tag. Kicking puddles of water at each other. Shen we start to shiver and our skin starts to wrinkle, we decide to head inside.

:-:-:

We are all dried up and sitting on the couch with cups of hot chocolate, a movie playing on the wide television screen. Max and Jenny decided to join us and were sitting on their stomachs on the carpeted floor of the living room, while Ethan and I sat on opposite ends of the couch, our legs stretched to the other end.

Jenny had insisted on watching something Disney, and I had agreed. The boys had groaned and pouted for a while, but had finally given in.
We were watching Big Hero 6 and were nearing the end. I could feel the tears sliding down my face as Baymax sacrificed himself. My poor baby.

I looked at Ethan and noticed his eyes were glassy but he was blinking hard, trying to suck them in. Hah. He was trying to be a tough guy. How cute.
"I've already seen you cry, no need to act manly."

He turns and looks at me, then blinks once more. A tear rolls down his face.
"Bro, you're such a crybaby. Boys don't cry," I tease.

He fake gasps and lunges for me. I shriek and jump back, running to my room and hiding in my closet.

"I'm gonna get you, Mimi. You can run but you can't hide."

I chuckle quietly. Try me.
