Chapter Five

Beck's POV

I lay in bed and all I could think about is Alex. Her ocean blue eyes that I could swim in forever and her silky hair. Her fair skin but also her hospitality. Who lets an almost stranger stay in their house?

Alex does.

I can see her defence mechanisms but I love her.

I love Alex Jones

She is who she is.

I wouldn't change it for the world.

I drifted into sleep.

I could see Alex on the floor. She was being beaten up.

Whoever the person was saw me, they ran away and left her there after spitting on her.

I sprinted up to her and kneeled down. I held her but she was ice cold. I looked up and noticed there was blood everywhere.

"Beck.... "

"Yes baby, I'm here, I'm not leaving"

"Beck.. I'm gonna die"

"No! No! Stay with me Alex!"

"Everyone left me in my life don't fucking be the next"

"I'm so sorry Beck, you deserve better. I'm disgusting. My dad says so, he's right"

"No, Alex he's not, I love you"

And with that she breathed her last.

I touched her face and closed my eyes.

When I opened them I was in college, by my locker. I looked over and she was with a random guy.

Their hands were clasped and they were kissing. I felt my stomach churn and I ran away. I ran and ran until I reached the college gates. I stared at them. The image of Alex and that guy forced it's was into my mind.

I screamed and pulled at the gate.

Then I woke up.

What the fuck was that. I looked at the clock.

2:59 AM

I need some water, I doubt I'll be able to sleep after that.

I carefully opened the door, trying not to wake her. The door felt slightly heavier. She fell asleep outside the door, leaning against it. Not that she was heavy or anything but you get what I mean....

I quietly sighed.

I lifted her and I noticed she was quivering. I held her tightly, she must be having a nightmare like I just did.

I took her to her room and lay her down.

"No, please stop, leave me" she was mumbling.

I kissed the forehead and left her to sleep.

On the way back, I grabbed a glass of water and went back to sleep.
