(Lloyd's POV)

Me and Oliver woke up early in the morning and decided to have breakfast before waking Kai and going on our quest. He hadn't been sleeping well the past month and he desperately needed some sleep. Oliver poured two bowls of some fancy French sounding cereal and passed me one. We sat in silence, making a few comments on the weather every now and then (like you do). Suddenly, I heard Kai running down the stairs and he ran into the kitchen, looking really worried. We looked at him, confusion and slight concern covering our faces. "What's wrong, Kai?" I asked. "I..." he speed abs I raised an eyebrow at him. "I...don't know?" he finished finally, his sentence coming out as more of a question. I felt even more confused. Then a thought hit me. "Is it them?" I asked softly. He just shrugged and said, "Maybe?" Oliver stood up. "We should start our search," he said, looking at Kai, "Just in case." Kai nodded, looking relieved at Oliver's concern for the girls. I stood as well and looked at Oliver. "Lead the way, Oliver," I instructed, "But I think it best if you stay out of sight of the girls in case they'll run." Oliver nodded. "Follow me." We followed him outside and waited while he locked the door, sighing. "My mum is gonna kill me," turning away from the house and leading us down the path. "My sister's gonna kill me," Kai told him. I felt kinda left out, cause no one was gonna kill me. Maybe that's a good thing. But I wanted to say something anyway. "I just hope Ollie and Naomi are okay," I finally said. Oliver looked back at me and grimaced slightly, probably thinking of all the things that could possibly happen to them, like I was. "Yeah. Me too," he agreed, turning back to the empty road in front of us.

Five hours later...

Five hours and we still had not seen any hunt of Ollie and Naomi. Kai looked just about ready to give up. We sat at a table at the cafe we decided to stop and have lunch at. Kai poked at his burger, stating at it blankly. "We've looked everywhere," Kai said quietly. I looked up at him. I guess he was right. We search the city high and low, as well as the outskirts. I sighed. I guess it was time to accept defeat. "Not everywhere," Oliver piped up. I looked at him, hope lighting my heart. "Really?" I asked excitedly, before realising the look of dread in his face, "Where?" Oliver looked towards the volcano (a/n if you guys remember what it is called, please tell me). "We used to go on trips with our father to the volcano. Naomi, Livia and me. While we were there, we found a secret cave and it's where we promised each other to go when we felt there was no where else to go." Kai stood up. "Well, what are we sitting here for then?" he practically shouted, causing people to give us strange looks, "Let's go!" He took off and we had no choice but to follow him. Soon, we were only a few hundred meters away and we could see the ocean looming behind the great mountain (a/n volcano, whatever. And yes, I know in the show there is no ocean behind the volcano. In this story, there is. Okay?) "Not much further," Oliver called to us, "It's on the other side, closest to the sea." After a few more minutes, we could see the secret entrance. It was sheltered and guarded by the violent ocean waves. "What's that?" Kai called over the roaring. I narrowed my eyes and saw a pile of what looked like rags and...wait...no...it can't be...

A/N

Merry Christmas everybody! Tis the season for cliffhangers that are probably obvious what's gonna happen next...or maybe not. :) What...or who...did they spot on the dangerous cliff on the other side of the volcano out side if the secret cave? The answer might shock some people, depending on who you think it is. Welp, enjoy the tension until I feel like updating again. And have a great Christmas.

And beware the mistletoe. Always. Beware. The. Mistletoe. :3
