"So..." Mark and Jack stood in front of each other in the airport, neither of them breaking eye contact. You could tell Jack was scared about Umbra, but he also seemed sad to leave. You had already said your goodbyes to Ken and Felix before they left yesterday. "You'll call me when you get there, right?" Mark pulled Jack into a tight embrace. "Of course ye goofball." Jack smiled sadly, pulling away to grab his suitcase. "Flight two oh seven take off in five minutes." A voice overhead announced. That was his flight. "Be careful." You cautioned as you hugged him goodbye. "Now where's the fun in that?" Jack teased, waving one last time as he quickly boarded the plane. "You think he'll be alright?" You asked Mark as the two of you walked back to your car. "You know Jack, he's an Irish leprechaun, as long as he has his lucky charms and potatoes he'll be fine." Mark adopted a terrible Irish accent that mainly sounded Scottish, causing you to laugh as you drove back home with him joking with you the entire trip. When you got home, it was only six in the morning. You both woke up at four to drive Jack to the airport and waited for his flight to leave, recording one last video with him. "What do you want for breakfast?" Mark opened the fridge. "Oh." He closed the fridge sheepishly. "I forgot to get food." You rolled his eyes at him. "We'll just pick stuff up then." Thirty minutes later, the fridge was fully stocked and Mark had made amazing pancakes that you devoured ravenously, eating more than you could count. "Mark-" you hesitated before continuing. "Yeah?" Mark was standing at the dishwasher, filling it with dishes from breakfast with Mayhem pacing around his feet. "When are you going to tell your fans about me?" You blurted. Mark froze with a plate in hand, his eyes betraying his guilt. "I haven't even told them I'm alive." He whispered, setting the plate down. "What?!?" You exclaimed in shock. You thought he already did. "How am I supposed to tell them anyway? Hey guys, so I'm possessed by an alien that can teleport, and that's why I didn't drown?!?" Mark snapped. You flinched at his words, gaze dropping from him. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get mad." Mark sighed as he kissed your head. "You need to tell them something." You protested. "Do they even care?" Mark's voice cracked with emotion. "Have you even been on Twitter?" You countered, opening it on your phone and showing it to you. The trending hashtag was #WeLoveMark, pictures of him everywhere. You clicked on a tweet and read it aloud. "I can't believe Mark's gone, I miss him so much and I don't think I could live without him in my life." Mark snatched the phone from you and scrolled through the tweets, tears filling his eyes as he scanned through them. "I...I didn't know I left such an impact on people." "Of course you do, you're an amazing," you kissed his cheek. "creative," you trailed kisses down his neck. "lovable goof." You finished, kissing his forehead. "I gotta say something to them." Mark realized as he jumped over the back of the couch and raced to his recording room, slamming the door shut with a bang that startled Mayhem and Chica, his dog that he brought with him after moving in with you. "Hello everybody, my name is Markiplier..." You faintly heard his intro. Unsure if you should intrude or not, you paused by the door. You jumped in surprise when the door swung open, Mark dragging you inside. "Oh yeah, and I live with (Y/N) now, she's my boo." You giggled at the nickname as he pulled you close to him. "Hey, bring Mayhem and Chica." Mark opened the door again. You darted out and led the two dogs after you with a handful of dog treats. "These are the pups." Mark zoomed the camera in on them. Mayhem licked the lens while Chica ignored them, gnawing on her treats. "Mayhem!" You scolded. "Ah it's fine." Mark wiped away the slobber with the sleeve of his shirt. "But I'll be getting back on my original schedule very soon and as always I will see you," you pointed at the camera with him. "in the next video. Bub-bye!" You both waved goodbye as he shut off the camera. "Good boy!" You rubbed Mayhem's head as he rolled over, tongue lolling out. Chica barked as she pounced on him, licking his face. "Awww." You smiled. You spent the rest of the day with Mark, answering comments and playing with the dogs, going on walks and just enjoying each other's company. "I'm surprised you're not sick of me since we've spent years cooped up together." You remarked while replying to a tweet. "Well...." Mark's voice went up a couple of octaves as you smacked his shoulder. "Cut me and do I not bleed?" Mark pretended to look hurt. "It is getting late though." You realized, checking the time on your phone. It was already nearly midnight. Mark opened his mouth to reply when his phone buzzed in his pocket. He pulled it out excitedly, his face falling when he unlocked it. "What's up?" You prompted. "Jack...I think he's cutting himself." He showed you his phone. There was picture from Signe, showing a sleeping Jack with bright red knife marks trailing down both arms, standing out on his pale skin. "We have to go visit him then!" You decided instantly. Mark hesitated before replying. "Let's not do that yet. I'll call him tomorrow in the morning and talk to him, see what's going on." You sighed, realizing that maybe there could've been an accident or some reasonably logically explanation. That night you couldn't sleep, even with Mayhem curled up at your feet, keeping them warm. When you rolled over, you found Mark staring at you with his chocolate brown eyes rimmed with red and puffy from crying. "Can I sleep with you tonight?" He asked softly. You agreed, letting him sleep beside you with his arms wrapped protectively around you like a stuffed animal. Chica padded in as well, crawling under new at the blankets and sleeping inbetween you and Mark like a barrier, sniffing your legs before falling asleep. You smiled, kissing Mark's lips before successfully managing to fall into a fitful sleep.
