So while trying to write another chapter of my Spideypool fic, I decided to finally write a Flash fic about my character, Sam. I've been thinking of this for awhile so I wanted to write her into a story, finally. Hopefully this will help me forward my other story as I try to get past my writer's block. Ech.

The smell of coffee filled Sam's lungs as she held her java close to her mouth, not quite sipping it. Today was surprisingly chilly in Central City, it always had nice weather, you could basically wear anything you wanted, sweater, shorts, coat or otherwise, but today... not so much. Sam placed her java down, her hands now warm and pulled her coat around her tighter, she was beginning to be really glad Jitter's had a heater. Jitters, the most well know coffee house in all of Central City. 'The only coffee house in central city', Sam was beginning to think, when she first herd about Jitters it received so much praise of its coffee, she was beginning now, to see why.

"Is this seat taken?"

Sam looked up her face still tucked into her coat, a man with black hair which reached his shoulders was gesturing to the chair across from her. She shook her head no and watched as he sat his coffee down on the table momentarily before taking his seat, she smiled the best she could without letting any heat slip away from her. He smiled back. They remained silent for a good 10 minutes, just watching each other sip coffee, but soon it became awkward. And you know what Sam hated the most? Besides the 44.5% chance of getting robbed on the street? Awkwardness.

She decided to speak up, "So whats your name?" Sam asked. Might as well keep it from getting too awkward. Reaching for her coffee, while waiting for a response she studied him, it was less weird than is sounded, Sam liked to look people over before she talked to much with them. He was 5'9 and his face was happy, he had dark tints around the bottom of his eyes as if he had stayed up late the night before. The mans hands were rough, but not like... mechanic rough, like, scientist rough. He began nodding as he sipped before he placed his coffee back on the table wiping any remaining coffee away with his arm.

'Bad bedside manner.. maybe he is a mechanic' Sam chuckled in her head.

"Cisco, " He paused taking a sip of his coffee before continuing, "you?" Cisco finished with a big grin, Sam mentally groaned, hopping he wasn't planning on flirting. Its not like he wasn't attractive, he was. But now he had a cool name, a nice smile and they were getting along? This was the worst. She cleared her throat and spoke up,

"No thank you." She said attempting to make a joke. Cisco just stared at her blankly raising an eyebrow before she realized he didn't get it. Sam cleared her throat awkwardly before forwarding the conversation, "Samantha. But with all due respect, I'd prefer it if you called me Sa-" she was unable to finish her sentence as she watched one of the workers turn up the TVs volumes, cutting her off.

"Once again, the mysterious Red Streak saves the day. After the house on 43rd and 5th unexpectedly broke into flames, the Streak seemed to arrive just in time to save the family from the burning fires, only to disappear soon after..." The woman seemed to trail on, praising the mysterious 'Streak'. Even though Sam, much intrigued as she was, wanted to hear more, she watched as Cisco pulled his coat up around him, grabbing his coffee and pulling his phone from one of the pockets. Sam squinted her eyes and tried to not listen in. Okay, actually no, she tried to listen in.

He held up his hand to his face and whispered into the phone, "Okay. Okay, yeah. I understand just please get him over to S.T.A.R Labs by the time i get there, shouldn't be a problem. Yep. Bye."

Cisco turned to Sam who quickly tried to resume her last position in the chair as well as not fall over herself because she was basically leaning off her chair in his direction to hear, and she did.

"Uh... ooho..kay. Well i gotta go," He said pointing behind him with his thumb, backing up waving, "Cya again Samantha!" Cisco smiled before knocking into someone, quickly apologizing and turning to leave Jitters. Sam reached after him even though he was already at the other side of the room, she sighed and rolled her eyes.

"It's Sam!"
