The Vault Hunter

"Guys were nearly at Tina's place, but there are about seven Varkid nests in the way. So, I say we-"

"GRENADE OUT!" Yelled Gaige as she threw three Rolling Thunder grenades that Stevie gave her just then to shut Axton up. There was a huge series of explosions that followed and a lot of Varkid flesh flying around before it got quiet.

"Or you could do that..."

"THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL! Shorty, get yo' fine asses in here! I wanna see that mod!"

Stevie's eyes widened as she heard Tina yelling into their ECHOs.

"Can it be?" She mumbled.

"What was that?" Asked Maya.

Suddenly she broke out into a sprint towards the entrance to Tina's workshop. The others followed in step, wondering what had gotten into their new friend.

"Tina?" Stevie yelled as she saw the thirteen year old jump onto a detonator, blowing up a psycho.

Tina turned around with a proud look on her face from the explosion, but her mood changed to complete disbelief and relief.

"STEVIE!" She screamed as a huge smile spread across her face and tears came to her eyes. She ran over to the new Vault Hunter, who scooped her up in her arms without hesitation.

"I thought they killed you." She whispered.

"Same here. I never thought I would see you again Tina. I'm so glad you made it."

Tears were now flowing down Tina's cheeks and they were pricking Stevie's eyes. Meanwhile the others stood there, perfectly confused at what just happened. "Do you know what just happened?" Whispered Salvador.

"Nope."

"Not at all."

"Negative."

"Uh, no but we should probably ask if we wanna know..."

Stevie and Tina separated and smiled at each other. "How did you survive? After I escaped... I saw them-"

Stevie shushes her. "Don't think about it. I'm here now, and that's all that matters."

After a while, the others pushed Maya forward. She glared at them before walking forward and putting a hand on Stevie's shoulder.

"Uh...is there like, something we should know?"

Stevie sighed and turned to Tina. "Go get your Badonkadonks and give em' to Ax over there."

She shook her head and ran to her garage to get the giant missiles.

Stevie stood and turned to Maya who was still trying to get answers. "I figured I would have to tell you guys sooner or later... well, it's just that, I'm-"

BOOOOOM!

"AXTON WHAT THE FUCK!?!?!?"

"I'm sorry! I wanted to see if it was real!"

"You fucktard!"

"Don't worry! I gotta spare!"

Stevie just sighed and shouted "Axton your a retard!" before addressing Maya.

"We'll all talk in the hideout. I obviously can't talk here."

Maya nodded her head and they went back to the others, who were still yelling at Axton for detonating a Badonkadonk.

"Alright guys! Let's get back on track here and blow up a train." Yelled Maya.

Stevie and Gaige chuckled at the unintended pun. Tina soon arrived with the other Badonkadonk and Salvador digistructed it into his ECHO because Axton was now untrustworthy.

"So did Stevie tell you anything?" Whispered Gaige.

"No, but she'll tell us after this mission." Maya whispered back.

"You know I can hear you right? I can also hear Ax and Sal talking about Moxxi. And I can tell Zer0 is still super pissed that I beat him with my mad skills. " Said Stevie without even looking at them. Ax and Sal flushed as their conversation came to a halt and Zer0 flashed a '>:( ' emote. Tina started giggling. "East dropping like in the dark times huh? Good to see you still got yo' mad skillz from testing." Said Tina.

"Hell yeah, I'll talk to you later Tina! We can catch up then! Save a spot next to Sir Reginald for me!"

"Can do buddy! What do you think Sir Reginald? Oh I agree! He says that's a wondrous idea!"

"Good! Bye!" Stevie called as she and the others headed to the place Mordecai marked on their maps.

They had only walked a little bit before they hit a bandit camp. "Wait there's a short cut here. We can cut through." Said Axton. The group reluctantly followed only to be met with a rain of bullets.

"DUCK!"

Everyone threw themselves to the side except Zer0 who stood there taking the bullets.

"What the fu-"

Suddenly the decoy disappeared and everyone spotted him slashing at badass Goliath's at the top of the tracks.

"Eat it pendejos!!" screamed Salvador as he began to gunzerk.

Stevie smirked and cracked her knuckles. "Finally some action." Stevie began to 'Rage out' as the group called it, and charged in obliterating everyone with her bare hands and dagger. Gaige followed her lead and summoned DT.

"Let's do this babe!" She shouted as she clambered onto his shoulder while he levitated into the fray of bullets, blood, and general badassery. Maya and Axton simply shrugged, and joined in. With all their combined skills they were basically invincible, excluding Stevie who really was. Soon all that was left from the battle were blood stains and residue from explosions.

"Fricken' amazing."
