*Friday afternoon*

"Beau everything will be ok!" I felt Emily's hand on my leg in the car driving to practice. I looked at her with puppy dog eyes and said "You don't know these guys Em." We pulled in the parking lot buzzing by loads of people. I helped Emily out of the car because even though it was the beginning of the 2nd month of her pregnancy, she was beginning to have a baby bump. I held her hand walking to the locker room. All of the boys were sitting in their own stalls, Sidney stood up and said "Coach made us gather in the locker room to meet your girl. That's why we're all in here, you looked a bit puzzled." He was right I was, to see all of the team politely sitting and having small talk waiting for me to speak. I cleared my throat after 5 minutes of rewinding what I wanted to say. "Alright. Over the summer I got into some trouble. But it was sorta good trouble. When Shane and I went out the night for celebration and met Emily. After that I guess we umm well got Emily pregnant. She's two months in right now, and already has a baby bump. She has a job at Children's hospital and is now living with me. I hope you guys like her and support us. Thank you." The boys clapped and I brought Emily to meet them all individually separate. "Emily this is ..." Got old by the 10th guy. Geno was thrilled we were having a kid and even spoke to the baby, Brooksy and Tanner both said if we needed anything or body guards for a child they would be there, and Sidney said if we needed any help with anything to just give a call. I didn't expect that reaction from them at all, I figured I would get harassed for getting her pregnant. It was time to get laced up for practice, I skated out and Emily was sitting on the bench taking pictures of me. I skated around and made funny faces at her it's the first time I ever felt loved I guess because she would make them back at me. Practiced closed up and I took Emily by the hand and told her to close her eyes. She followed my instructions, I picked her up and took her out on the ice carrying her bridle style. I set her down in center ice, and told her to open her eyes. She smiled and said "You know I can't skate Beau!" I laughed and replied "I know but just stand there babe you'll be fine!" I grabbed her face and pulled her in for a long kiss, her eyes locked on mine after the kiss and I just looked at her and said "I missed those lips." I picked her back up and carried her off the ice all the way to the car. We sped off to our new house, and decorated the walls of the baby's room. Emily got tired pretty quickly so I sat her down and asked if I could speak to her. I said "Over these past through weeks I've realized that I really do like you, I hope you like me too. I look forward to being with you and the baby. I promise you I won't leave you at all. Your beautiful and deserve to be happy. I just wanted to tell you I do have feelings for you." Emily hugged me tight and came back with "I may be tired but not that tired to say that I really like you too Beau. Your really good looking and deserve to be happy too." I'm glad everything went well with Emily and telling her how I feel, and with meeting the team today. She's going to the doctor Monday to check the health of the baby, she said she's scared but I don't know why.
