Poem 9 (Society)

There’s this animal that swarms the planet.

It lives off insecurities.

The beast stalks the Earth in mighty glory.

With no destination they whisper secrets to one another.

They play the game of children.

The game called ‘telephone’ whispering things back and forth.

At the end of the line the truth is gone and never to be recovered.

It only has one perception of normal, one of pretty, one mold that should be spread across the human race.

They pick their next victim with many things in mind;

Their wealth, their background, their size.

Ignoring the things that matter most.

Stomping across the land it crushes dreams, lives, and hope. Hope.

Others laugh… until… until they’re the victim of the horrid monster who call himself  Society.
