Rebecca was finally getting on a plane to South Korea after 5 years of endless waiting. She had met a Korean-American girl online who shared her interest in a certain KPOP band called BTS. Her name was Amanda and she lived in Seoul, South-Korea. Rebecca had been dying to meet her but her parents hadn't let her go, for obvious reasons, but she was still pretty pissed. When she finally turned 18 and was old enough to make that decision on her own Rebecca wanted to hop straight to the next flight to Korea. But since her
parents weren't paying she had to earn some money first. So after two long years of hard work she was finally on her way to Korea in a seat which was beside a couple who just wouldn't stop laughing and god did that lady have an annoying laugh. Rebecca just had to smile awkwardly at them when they looked at her for some response and try to force a believable laugh.

Many hours later Rebecca entered South Korea. Amanda then picked her up from the airport where they exchanged a great deal of hugs and smiles and then they drove back to Amanda's place. Her apartment was quite large, considering only one person lived there, with two or three large bedrooms and a HUGE bathroom. It was very clean and when I say 'very clean' I mean VERY clean.

"You have to forgive me, I didn't have much time to clean the place before I had to pick you up so it's not in its best condition right now", Amanda said smiling. Rebecca could see right through that smile and knew that she was up all night cleaning this place, or at least she hoped she was because DAMN this house was almost too clean. Mind the 'almost'.
Amanda shows Rebecca her room which has a little 'Rebecca' on the door. 'How cute!!!' Rebecca thought.
The room was really nice with a king sized bed and the wall behind the bed was painted baby blue. On the blue wall there was a giant painting of a gorgeous pink sunset in some valley where a beautiful little barefooted girl was sitting alone in a homemade swing hanging from a majestic black tree with the wind blowing softly in her hair. Two little birds sat closely next to each other and watched the sun set by the water. Rebecca really liked that painting.

After she finished admiring the picture on the wall she decided to begin unpacking. She opened the closet to insert her beautifullll granny clothes but froze at the sight of a giant room, that she was supposed to call a closet, behind the mirror doors. Rebecca couldn't help but think to herself 'WOW this girl must be bathing in money', but she quickly decided not to think about how much money her great, great friend who was being very, very nice to let her stay with her, had and just tried to find a good place to keep her oh so wonderful clothes. When she had finally inserted all of her amazing pieces of clothing in the giant closet she noticed that she had to do a lot of shopping since almost all of her clothes barely took up half the space leaving the rest of the shelves very lonely. She stood there just looking in the empty void of the closet as she heard Amanda calling. Rebecca quickly snapped out of her fantasies of beautiful clothes filling the gigantic space to see Amanda waving her hands in front of her.
"Earth to Rebecca", she said and she just smiled sheepishly.

"You seem deep in thought", she jokingly said with a slight grin or her face as she peaked into the room Rebecca was supposed to call a closet. "I guess this means we're going shopping", Amanda said trying not to show the happiness on her face as she almost bounced out of the room. Rebecca just chuckled at her actions and continued unpacking her precious stuff. She took up her holster where she keeps her glasses and decided to swap her eye contacts with them to rest her eyes. When that was done she sighed in relief. She looked through her suitcase again and picked up her sanitizer, 'I really want to thank whoever invented sanitizer' Rebecca thought to herself as she remembered all the horrid times where she could literally feel the bacteria roam around her body without being able to cleanse herself.

The last thing she picks up from her suitcase is her precious charger. She carefully puts it in a drawer in her nightstand and sighs deeply, relieved that she is finally done unpacking.

A few moments later she hears Amanda call her name and sits up from the comfortable position on the bed and slowly walks out of the room and makes her way to the kitchen where Amanda was preparing dinner.

As they eat what looks like noodles with some dark stuff in them Amanda asks Rebecca what she wanted to see in Korea. She just said stuff like Han River, Namsan Tower and other touristy stuff like that. Amanda just nods and continues eating. Rebecca hears a little giggle as Amanda sees that she's actually struggling quite a lot with her chopsticks which is weird because she actually learned to use them. Amanda then offers to teach Rebecca 'the ways of the chopsticks' as she calls it with a smug look on her face. Rebecca awkwardly tries to follow her movements until she's finally able to pick up a small portion of her noodles. She slowly puts them in her mouth and starts to chew slowly as she wasn't sure how she will react to this new taste. To her surprise, well not really, the dish Amanda prepared is delicious and soon she was slurping the last few noodles out of her bowl.

They both finished their meals and Rebecca decides to help Amanda with the dishes. That ends in a brutal foam war that leaves them lying on the kitchen floor holding their stomachs from laughter with foam all over their faces and clothes.

After Rebecca finished showering and changes into comfy pajamas they decide that they should watch a movie and relax a bit before they go to bed.

When the movie ends they struggle to stand up from their spots on the couch out of simple exhaustion. At least that's Rebecca's case.

She lets herself fall onto the bed and almost immediately falls asleep.
