Days, weeks and months passed and I had still not completely accepted the fact that Taehyung and I had no future together. I understood why we couldn't and I knew that he understood as well but it was a little unfair to be honest. I think that I fell in love with him without realizing it, and that's bad. I had been following loosely what he was doing with his life and I was really glad that he hadn't let his feelings interrupt his work and he and the other guys in BTS were doing great as ever. Amanda and I still kept in touch but we didn't talk as often as before. We talked once a week at the most and it was mostly the same questions again and again. Our lives were very uneventful and there wasn't very much to talk about so our conversations were often extremely short.
I had earned enough money (with a little help) to rent my own apartment, with a roommate of course. Her name was Lily and she was working at a coffee place while studying to become an electric engineer while I worked at a makeup store and studied acting with fashion as an extra course at the Icelandic University of arts. We hadn't lived together for long so we were still a little awkward around each other but I thought we got along pretty well. We were sitting in the sofa watching television and I suddenly started missing Amanda a lot since that exact setting was the one that we spent the most time in. It didn't help that Lily decided to watch Madagascar. I started wondering what Amanda was doing at that very moment. I decided to call her to check up on how she was doing. I dialed her number and was just a second from calling when I figured that she must've been asleep since it was like 5 in the morning in Seoul. Since I didn't have anything to do I decided to take a walk and get some fresh air.
When I came back the time was about midnight. I checked the mailbox as usual but instead of just bills and advertising booklets there was a fancy envelope with 'Rebecca' written on it in beautiful smooth writing. I quickly ran up to the apartment and hopped up on my bed to open the envelope. It opened up smoothly and once it was open I drew up a grey-blueish letter with the BTS logo inscribed on the back. I quickly flipped the paper to read what was on the back but there was nothing there. I looked back into the envelope to find a little piece of paper with an invitation to a BTS concert that would be held next month. I was just starting to dance my happy dance when I realized that there had been no news of BTS having a concert here. Usually there would be something about the concert in question at least a year beforehand. My endless smile that had crept onto my face disappeared immediately at that thought. This must've been some sick joke some of my friends decided to pull on me thinking that it would be a fun idea. Well I didn't and I certainly did not know why or how they managed to take it this far. I mean this envelope and that ticket looked surreal-y real and it had to have cost a lot of money. I decided to not look for the culprit until at least tomorrow. I wasn't even sure if I wanted to know who it was because I might flip out on them even if I knew that this was just done with thoughts of a fun joke. It wasn't until a few days later that some media was shown about this concert. It was said to be a rash decision to come by America and perform there. A few more days and this was all over the news and tickets were flying out like fresh lemonade on a sunny day. Soon the concert was sold out and I was sincerely excited to go and see my Tae again. Lily had even managed to get a ticket and was immensely trying to inform herself about this newly found band.
"OMG did you know that V absolutely loves dogs??" she said with excitement in her voice. She loved dogs more than people and I was pretty sure that she would trade me for a dog anytime.
"I know all about that", I said in a bittersweet tone, remembering the times he would just go on and on about how he would love to have a dog someday. And how his whole face would light up in the sight of the fluffy species.
"I think that we could get along very well considering his profile. If the world would be so kind to make that possible", she said laughing with a big smile on her face, "he's definitely my favorite", she commented quietly before continuing to listen to their song and desperately trying (and failing) to sing along. I chuckled before going into the kitchen to try to cook something for us to eat. When I had finished cooking I filled my bowl of food and walked into my room to eat there while watching K-dramas. I stayed there for about 4 hours before finally deciding to try to enter dreamland.

The reason why it's so strange that they're coming to America is because the original country was Iceland and hardly any musicians come here on tour unless they've been there before for other reasons. And since I'm a lazy bastard I decided to just change the location rather than trying to make the story fit the 'America' concept.Word count: 907
