The next day I woke up to the sun shining right in my face. I had forgotten yet again to cover the windows before I went to sleep and now the sun was punishing me with her blinding lazers that were burning their way into my eyeballs. I rose up from my comfortable bed and made my way to the 'closet'. After I had decided on something acceptable to wear I walked out of my room and went straight to the kitchen. Amanda was already there reading the newspaper with a coffee and a bagel. As I entered she looked up at me and smiled brightly.
'Well someone's in a good mood today' I thought to myself as I found my way to the fridge. I took out the strawberries and my aloe vera drink, which was not to be touched by anyone but me, and sat down on the chair beside Amanda. We ate our breakfast in a comfortable silence while the sun shone lightly on the kitchen tiles making the shadows of the trees make funny patterns on the floor.
After approximately 2 hours we decided to head to the place where the meet and greet was supposed to take place. We weren't exceptionally early this time so there was a line that had to reach China for sure. We got in the back of the line and prepared ourselves for a long wait. Thankfully Amanda had brought emergency snacks and something to drink because after only half an hour my stomach started growling. Man I should've eaten more than a few strawberries for breakfast. We stood in the queue for a long time while eating Cheetos and candy and noticed some real creepy fans here and there. There was one fan with Jungkook's face on hers like a mask, she was quite legendary though and there were many way creepier fans that I don't want to describe. All you need to know is that some girls surely weren't allowed within 500m of the band.
The line had been constantly getting shorter and shorter and before I knew it we could see their faces only a few meters away and I wanted to pick up my phone to take pictures but when I reached for my phone in my pocket the usual bump on my leg wasn't there. I panicked slightly when I realized that I didn't have my phone with me but quickly brushed that away and figured that I probably just forgot it at home in the rush.
Now there were only about ten people ahead of us and I could feel the excitement rising up with every second that passed. After not more than 2 (long) minutes we walked up the stairs that lead to the platform where BTS stood waiting patiently for the next fan. I would've thought that they would be tired of just standing there meeting overly excited people but they just smiled and when they realized who we were their smiles got even bigger. They walked up to us and Hoeseok immediately pulled us into a big hug. They started talking about how it took us a long time to finally get here and that they were starting to wonder if we'd even show up. I smiled sheepishly and rubbed my nape at the thought of them actually thinking about m-US. We just started talking but this conversation was more intimate and less awkward. We got to know each other better and GOD if it was even possible I thought that I had fallen even deeper in love with Taehyung. He absolutely loved animals. The others also told us stuff about themselves but to be honest, the only one I sincerely cared hearing about was V. We also told them some things about us and they tried to pronounce my full name properly and that was honestly one of the most adorable things I've seen in my life. There's just something about their accents that was simply irresistible. Our time was nearly up and we started saying our goodbyes and hugging (A LOT). I decided to say goodbye to V last but when I was done and had started walking away he grabbed my arm softly and handed me something with a smile on his face.
"I believe this yours", he said as I looked at the thing that was in my hand. It surprisingly was my phone. I have never in my life forgotten my phone anywhere before so it was quite a shock to see V handing me my phone. At least he was smart enough to figure that it was probably mine. I smiled at him and bowed while thanking him. He suddenly laughed and pointed at my phone.
"I like your photo", he said smiling and I was confused for a moment until I realized what he meant. I felt heat rise up to my cheeks as they turned a rose color. I just laughed awkwardly and left while cursing myself for not changing that photo years ago. I then turned on my phone and saw the cover photo that I had kept on my screen since I was fifteen. It was one of my favorite pictures of V with sunglasses and his tongue was sticking out of the side of his mouth. The thought alone of having him looking at that picture and laughing at how weird I probably seemed to him made my cheeks turn red again and I sighed as I entered Amanda's car. I opened my phone to check if I had gotten any messages but to my surprise there was a message from a new contact that I didn't know that I had in my phone. I opened the message and it was from a person called 'the best, sexy man alive <3', again something I'd never heard of.
'Meet me front of Bau House at 20:00 :)'
I was a little scared but mostly confused. All my contacts only consisted of people in Iceland and Amanda but now a contact that I had never seen or heard of sent me a message in English telling me to meet them at a Korean café. I had heard about Bau House before but I never really knew what it was other than a café.
'Who is this?'
'You will see ;)'
