In the Courtroom Part I

Shravan reaches Sumo's house. He rings the bell there is no answer. He calls Sumo,  she doesn't pick up,  he then starts banging the door loudly and shouting. Sumo comes and opens the door.
Sumo -  mujhe tumse koi baat nahi karni,  yahan se chale jao.
Shiv also gets up and comes outside where his parents are fighting.
Shravan shouts -  mujhe karni hai,  aur main aaj baat karke hi jaunga.
Sumo -  Shravan, bacche ke saamne chillao mat.
Shravan lowers his tone -  pehle gussa dilati ho,  phir kehti ho chillao mat.
Sumo -  Huh, whatever, waise bhi tum kya nayi baat karoge, phir se yahi kahoge,  Sumo wo sirf meri dost hai,  aur tumhe kya lagta hai main itni bevakoof hun ki tumhari har baat maan jaungi. Maine tumse kitna pyaar kiya, tumne mere saath aisa kyu kiya Shravan.. She breaks down crying.
Shravan in frustration - kitni baar bataun ki aisa kuch nahi hai mere aur Trisha ke beech par tum samajhna hi nahi chahti.. Theek hai ab nahi samjhaunga, tumhe divorce chahiye na,  nahi dunga,  jao jo karna hai karlo.
He leaves in anger.
Shiv comes and wipes Sumo's tears and hugs her. She kisses him on his cheeks, and picks him up in her arms. She closes the door and goes to the bedroom where she holds Shiv and cries to sleep.
Meanwhile Shravan reaches home. Ramnath comes out of his room to get a glass of water. He sees Shravan entering the house.
Ramnath -  Shravan kahan the tum itni der tak aur ye kya haal bana rakha hai.
Shravan breaks down and hugs Ramnath -  Papa wo mujhe divorce de rahi hai
Ramnath -  ye tum kya bol rahe ho, Suman aisa nahi kar sakti,  main maanta hun ki tum dono ke beech jhagda hua, wo naraaz hokar ghar chod kar chali gayi,  par hum sabhi ko laga ki tum log aapas me hamesha ki tarah apna jhagda sort out kar loge. Wo tumse bahut pyaar karti hai,  iss baat ko mujhse behtar koi nahi jaanta,  tu pareshaan mat ho,  main usse samjhaunga. Par pehle mujhe ye bata ki aakhir aisa kya ho gaya jo wo itni naraaz hai.
Shravan tells him everything.
Ramnath -  ye toh badi gadbad ho gayi,  aur tumhe itna peene ki kya zaroorat thi, 
Ab dhyan rakhna,  us ladki se dur rehna, aise logon se dosti rakhne ki koi zaroorat nahi. Ab jao jakar so jao,  main subah Suman se baat karunga.
Pushkar enters -  kahaan the aap bhaiya,  aapko pata hai main aur Sumo kitne pareshaan the,  main toh bas aapki missing report likhwane wala tha ki Sumo ka text aaya ki aap mil gaye ho.
Ramnath -  Shravan wo tumse kitna pyaar karti hai,  divorce papers bhejne ke baad bhi tumhare liye itni pareshaan thi. Wo maan jayegi beta,  ghar bhi wapas aa jayegi
Pushkar -  kya!  Sumo ne divorce ke papers bheje hain?  Main nahi maanta, bhaiya,  wo aapse aur aap usse alag reh hi nahi sakte. Sab theek ho jayega. Aap so jao,  hum sab usse baat karenge. Zarurat padi toh Dadaji se bhi kahenge usse samjhane ke liye. Apne nanu ki baat wo kabhi nahi talegi.
Shravan feels a little hopeful,  goes to the bedroom and lies down. 
Next day Sumo and Shiv are having breakfast. Sumo -  beta kal hume Court jaana hai,  ho sakta hai ki judge uncle tumse kuch sawaal pooche,  tum sach sach jawaab dena.
Shiv - theek hai mumma,  par wo mujhse kya poochhenge
Sumo -  kuch nahi bas tumhare papa ke baare me. Jo bhi tumhe pata ho sab sach sach bata dena.
Sumo and Shiv are waiting for the bus -  Shreya comes there says -  hello aunty,  aap kaise ho.
Sumo -  main achi hun beta,  tum kaisi ho.
Shreya -  aunty kya sach me shiv ka bh..
Shiv puts a hand on her mouth.. says -  mumma ye bas meri shikayat karne ka mauka dhundhti hai. Bus aa gayi Shreya,  baad me kar lena mumma se meri burai.
They leave as Ram nath arrives.
Sumo -  papa
aap yahan
Ram nath -  Beta tum ye kya kar rahi ho
Sumo -  papa aap nahi jaante Shravan ne kya kiya
Ram nath -  main sab jaanta hun beta,  phir bhi keh raha hoon,  ek baar ache se soch lo,  reh paogi uske bina? Wo kaise rahega tumhare bina?  Aur Shiv,  tumne socha ki usne iss sab ka kya asar padega,  tumne dekha hai na meri galtiyon ke kaaran Shravan pe kya asar pada tha,  please tum meri galti mat dohrao. Tumhe force toh nahi kar sakta bas itna yaad dilaunga ki tumne kitne confidence se mujhse kaha tha ki tum aur Shravan ek dusre ke liye hi bane ho, uss baat pe bharosa rakho beta.
Ram nath caresses her on the head and leaves. Sumo leaves for PCT.
She is sitting at her desk and is very upset. She looks at the pictures on her desk. There is one where she is hugging Shiv from behind,  another where she is making a sandcastle with Shiv and one more where she is sitting on the beach with Shravan.
Flashback - the family has gone to Greece where Ramnath has a conference. Shiv is three years old and looks very chubby and cute playing in the sand. Sumo is making a sandcastle with him, though he hardly does anything apart from giving her water when she asks. Nirmala is also sitting with them. Sumo is working very intently when Shravan starts splashing water on her.
She gets up,  he runs,  she runs after him -  ruko,  ruko batati hun tumhe main,  Shiv and Nirmala laugh.
Back to present -  She picks up her photo with Shravan and puts it inside the desk drawer. She gets busy with work to avoid those memories that bother her.
Meanwhile Shravan is very restless,  he remembers how broken he felt when Sumo had left their home right after marriage and resolves -  Sumo main tumhe khud se dur nahi jaane dunga,  kabhi nahi. Nirmala arrives from Mumbai.
She says to Shravan -  tumhare papa ne bataya mujhe sab jo hua. Pareshaan mat ho, sab theek ho jayega. Jao jakar so jao,  kal mediator ke paas bhi jaana hai.

Next day, in the family court before the mediator.
Sumo narrates her side of the past incidents. She says she does not want to remain in a marriage with a person who has cheated on her.
The mediator asks Shravan what he has to say about Suman's allegations.
