"Why do we have to be teachers here while Lloyd lives like a superstar and gets awards!?", Cole whined loudly while walking into the faculty room and sat on the sofa, the others following him in.

"Yeah right, because he is the golden ninja, what about us!?", Jay agreed and throwed his hands up in the air in frustration before leaning against a wall.

"I miss those times we fought together, side to side", Zane said sadly and looked down.

"I miss to kick villain butt", Kai said sitting down on the other end of the sofa exhausted. "This really sucks"

"Cheer up! You should be happy that evil have stopped to roam around Ninjago and not be so jealous on Lloyd", Nya said and rolled her eyes.

"Since when did you start to defend him?", Cole asked her, making her more irritated.

"Since you guys started to talk behind his back", she scoffed and picked up her plate with food from the desk. "You know what? I will eat outside this time so I can take a break from your complains, I know that it's unfair and such but grow up!", she scolded before she walked out from the room bringing the plate with her.

"Nya wait!", Jay groaned and ran after her.

'This better not be our future', Kai thought for himself and sighted as (surprisingly) the conversation about how unfair life was against them went on.

Time skip 2 days

It was a cloudy saturday and the school was closed for the weekend. They were waiting for Lloyd to arrive since he said that he could visit them today. Finally a roar could be heard outside and all of them raced out to see a big golden dragon with a golden dressed rider on top. They waved frantically before the dragon disappeared and the rider jumped off and took off his mask to reveal Lloyd who was smiling at them. "Hi guys, missed me?"

"Welcome nephew", sensei Wu greeted calmly to him. "Long time no see"

"Now tell us everything about your adventures while we show you around!", Jay said excitedly before they all went back into the house (they live in a house and have own rooms now just cuz XD).

"Oh I almost forgot!", Nya said taking out a piece of paper from her pocket. "We're running out of supplies"

"I can do it if I get the shopping list", Cole offered and Nya gave him the list before he left, taking the car with him (they had a bus so why not a car too?).

Time skip 1 hour

Cole opened the door and walked in to the kitchen with two plastic bags in his hands and started to unpack. He bought everything that was on the list plus some extra things they didn't write down on the list.

"Need help?", a voice asked right behind him which got Cole startled and almost attacked the person with the kitchen knife that was beside him before he realized that it was just Kai and calmed down.

"Kai! Don't scare me like that, it could've ended very badly! I'm a ninja you know!", Cole scolded while Kai just laughted in amusement before helping him with the last bag. "Next time you want to help me, don't sneak up on me like that"

Time skip next day

It was a sunny morning and the sun shined from the window which made Kai twist and turn in irritation and the faint smell of burned rubber made it almost impossible to sleep. He groggily opened his eyes before a scream caught his attention.
