Sensei Wu was gone on a trip and the others celebrated their victory against master Chen. Some alcohol was involved and even though Zane couldn't get drunk, his mechanic gave a reaction to the alcohol and shutted down. Nya and Jay did some nasty sh¡t in front of Kai and Lloyd so Kai got the bottle, smashed the bottom of it and stabbed Jay to death. Nya and Kai pulled a cruel prank by putting Jay in a couch staring at sleeping Cole while Lloyd was terrified as he was not as drunk as the others. Those who remembers this event is Lloyd and Kai.

Nya: as you can see Kai was this case's murderer!
Kai: yup, so congratulations animallover66256 for being the first one to guess right!
Lloyd: I guess that lesson you had in school helped you
In matter of fact it did! It practically fixed the big mess I had of a case, and after patching up those big plot holes in less than two days or so it was ready to go!
Jay: so things worked out?
Kinda.
Zane: anyway-
