"You're my lily in a bunch of roses. Oh James, you're too sweet!" Lily cooed on the morning of February 14th. The owls had just delivered the post and Lily's had dropped a large bouquet of around 20 roses with one, lone lily standing proud in the middle.
"It's nothing," James mumbled.
"Oh, come here," Lily giggled, grabbing the blushing Head Boy by his tie and pulling him into a kiss. There were whoops and cheers from around the Gryffindor table, and soon from the whole Great Hall.
"Can we keep the snogging down to a minimum here? I'm trying to eat my breakfast without throwing up," (y/n) interrupted.
"Shut up, (y/n)," Lily beamed after pulling away finally. "You'd been fine if it was you and -"
(y/n) gave Lily a stern look.
"Don't," she warned.
"It's true though, everyone knows it," Lily said.
"No, they don't."
"Yes, they do."
"No, they don't."
"Yes, they do."
"No, they-"
"Whatcha arguing about there, girls?" Sirius interrupted with an intrigued expression.
"Your dear sister here has a little crush," Lily smirked.
"I don't," (y/n) stated.
"Your Gryffindor supporting cheeks tell me otherwise," Sirius teased.
"It's none of your business," (y/n) muttered.
"Oh, but it is, see? Because I believe that you quite obviously like - and you have for while now - our furry little friend Re-"
"Morning everyone, what's breakfast looking like?" Remus yawned after finally making his way down to breakfast, Peter close behind him.
"Breakfast's looking good," (y/n) replied. "We've got chocolate spread today."
"Different," Remus stated, pulling a face which showed that he was considering whether to try it or not. "Eh, it's chocolate, I'll eat it."
"You need to slow down on the sweet stuff," Lily told him.
"Yeah, yeah," Remus answered, putting some of the chocolate spread on his toast. "Have you seen how much (y/n) eats?"
"Not as much as you!" (y/n) exclaimed.
"I beg to differ," Remus said, taking a bite if his food. "Mmm, this is nice."
"I know, I've had some."
"I'll see you lot later, I'm going to get my stuff from my dorm," Lily said.
"Same here," James added.
"Bye then," the other four said as Lily picked up her bouquet of flowers and the two left the Great Hall hand in hand.
"So, how's the potion coming along?" (y/n) asked Remus as he began eating his second slice of toast.
"It's finished," Remus said.
"That's why we're down so late," Peter explained. "We were seeing what we could get James to transfigure it into."
"And we came to the conclusion that since it's still snowing, we could turn it into snow," Remus added.
"That's an amazing idea!" (y/n) exclaimed.
"Yeah, but what if it doesn't work -"
"- as snowflakes?" (y/n) finished for Sirius.
