Liam's POV

There was nothing more frightening than your wife going into labor. One second I was heading into the kitchen, listening to Ryan and Ryver having a moment, then Ryan screams and Ryver laughs. I dart in there and see her double over laughing and then from pain. I knew it was time to meet our babies. I was unprepared for watching the pain she is in, by far.

Right now she is laying on the bed in the delivery room, soaked in sweat, pain radiating off of her. The doc said it would still be a while before she was ready to push, so I am pacing and she is sleeping lightly. How can she sleep at a time like this? I could never sleep being in that much pain. Luke and Lynn bust in the room, "Oh my god, my BFF is in labor!" he whimpers and I just laugh at him. Big baby. Lynn drops in the chair next to Ryver and gently wipes her sweat off with the wet rag that I had placed on the table. Luke and I are both pacing while Lynn keeps a calm presence next to Ryver. I can faintly hear everyone else in the waiting room, talking and laughing. They are waiting for our miracles to come.

Ryver gasps as another contraction hits her and sees Lynn and Luke. She gives them a tight, pained smile. Luke opens his mouth to say something and Ryver lets out a loud groan of pain. Luke pales, Lynn snickers at him. The doc comes back and checks Ryver again. "My dear you are moving along faster than I thought. Are you ready to push?" She gives a weak nod and Luke and I each grab a hand and Lynn helps her sit up a little. "Push" Doc barks out and Ryver does, not screaming but groaning. After three more pushes, "And we have a baby girl." The doc hands her off to the nurse to get cleaned up as Luke passed out cold.

Ryan and Ryder come in to carry the limp noodle to the waiting room. Next, three more pushes, " Another girl." Rest. Four more pushes, "A boy." Then Ryver crashes. The doc has the babies with the nurses to get cleaned up and he is desperately trying to stop the bleeding. The room is in chaos, then quiet as Ryver flat lines. We are forced out of the room so they can help her. I can feel my heart breaking. My Ryver is dying, no she did die. I pace the waiting room, my thoughts stormy and dark. "Mr. Wentworth? Would you like to meet your children?" A small, older nurse calls me and I follow her.

There, in plastic bassinets are two tiny pink and one tiny blue bundle. I pick up the first tiny pink bundle and she has a thick coat of black curls on her head. Her tiny eyes open and I am struck by the hazel eyes staring back at me, my eyes. She has Ryver's hair and my eyes. "I will call you Hazel Charlotte Wentworth." She coos at me, I take it she likes it. I lay her down and pick up the second pink bundle. She has the same hair as Hazel but when she looks at me, she has Ryver's icy blue eyes. "Hello, my sweet. I think you should be called Christine Lynn Wentworth." She smiles and I place her back in her bed. I pick up my son, his hair is light brown like mine and when he opens his eyes, I am floored. One eye is hazel like mine and the other is icy blue like Ryver. "You should be called Drake Matthew Wentworth."  I place him back in his bed and call the others to come see the babies, I need to check on my Ryver.

When I push open the door, I see her lying still in her bed. Pale as a ghost and not breathing. They have cleaned her up. I kneel next to her. "You can't leave me now, Ryver. I have three little babies that need their mother. We have a family that needs their sister. We have a Clan that needs their leader and a kingdom that needs their Queen. I named our babies, but if you want to know their names, then you better come back to me. Please, baby, I need you." I cry into her chest. I feel a hand in my hair, "You better not have named one after Luke." A husky voice says. I sit up on look at those icy blue eyes and smile. "Of course not, the world cannot handle another Luke." She smiles, "I had an out of body experience, it sucked." I squeeze her hand, "What happened?" She shakes her head. "I wish I knew. One minute, I am in pain the next, nothing. I know that I died for a few seconds, but other than that, I have no clue." I sigh, "I thought I had lost you for good, you lost a lot of blood."  She cups my cheek, "I seem to scare you, a lot. Did you name our babies? When can I see them?" I smile at her, "Right now, hang on." I get up and jog out to the doc, "She is awake and wants to see the babies." He looks shocked, "Awake? She was dead!" I smirk at him, "She does that, just bring in the babies." I turn and go back to Ryver.

She is sitting up and smiling at me, "He is getting them." Just then the door opens and Ryan, Ryder, and Luke come in, each carrying a baby, followed by Chris, Trevor, Lynn, Quinn, and James. A huge smile breaks free on Ryver's face at the sight of her family. "Hey, guys!" Everyone's face lights up with smiles. Ryan walks up to her and hands her our first baby girl. Ryver gasps, "She has your eyes." I nod, "Meet Hazel Charlotte Wentworth." She smiles lovingly at Hazel. "So beautiful." Ryder steps up with our second daughter. "Switch me, Short stack." He winks at her and she grins at him. "Crap, she looks like me, maybe she won't act like me too." We all laugh, "Meet Christine Lynn Wentworth." She runs a hand over the top of the baby's hair. Luke stands next to her, "Take your son, BFF." She switches babies and looks at our son. When his eyes open, tears fall from her eyes. "Baby, what's wrong?" She gently traces his face, "He is the one, my dreams have been about him. He will have a lot of power so we are going to have to protect him and train him and all of them."  I rub her shoulder, "Drake Matthew Wentworth." She coos at our son, "They are all perfect, but we are going to have our hands full." Everyone laughs at that and James has a look on his face, "What is it, James?" I ask him and he chuckles, "Triplets, you are going to tear your hair out."

After everyone helps us get settled back at home because Ryver wouldn't stay at the hospital, we are cuddled up in bed. The babies are in bassinets in our room, sleeping after just being fed. "Do you feel ok?" I ask Ryver and she turns to look at me, "I have you and three perfect children, why would I fell anything other than great." I cup her cheek and kiss her, "I love you so much, Ryver." She sighs and sleepily whispers, "I love you." Before falling asleep. I snuggle into her and fall asleep with a smile on my face.

I wake up, alone. I sit up and look around the room, no one. Where are Ryver and the babies? I jump up and start frantically searching the house. I reach the kitchen and bust through the door to see Ryver, Trevor, and Quinn sitting at the table, each holding a baby and looking at me like I have lost my mind. "I thought something happened, you were gone and so were they." I said sheepishly. Ryver chuckles, "They woke up an hour ago to eat and be changed, you were sleeping so peacefully that I didn't want to wake you. Trevor was passing by and offered to help and so did Quinn." I nod and grab a cup of coffee before sitting next to Ryver who is holding Drake. "They will grow faster than regular babies, develop faster. What do we feed them?" I ask her. She smiles "The pack doctor has been running some tests to see what they need. So far, we have come up with a formula high in protein and blood. They seem to take to it. He started running tests as soon as they were born. He is on top of this. I was worried but so far so good." I nod, "Good, I want them to be happy and healthy." Trevor hands me Hazel and grabs Ryver a bag of blood. She grins at him and he winks, "You can't be getting weak, your body is still recovering." I shake my head and she laughs, "That is why you are my favorite."

After our breakfast and a shower, Ryver is taking a nap, she has been pretty tired. Luke, Lynn, Chris, Ryder, Ryan, and James are here and playing with the babies when my Father comes home, he was away on business when Ryver had the babies. "It looks like a party in here." He chuckles. I smile, "Good to have you back, Dad. You missed a few things while you were gone." He quirks an eyebrow at me, "Like what, son?" He looks at James and sees him holding Drake his head whips back to me, "She had the babies? Where are they? Where is she? Did every go ok?"  We all laugh. "Everything is fine, She had them yesterday but refused to stay in the hospital. She lost a lot of blood and we almost lost her, but she bounced back and is fine."  He smiles, "Of course she did, she is a tough cookie."  Ryver sneaks up behind Dad, "I love cookies."  He laughs and grabs her in a big hug. They have gotten a lot closer since the whole incident before.

He goes and looks at the babies, smiling like a madman. This is what makes me happy, seeing our family together and I owe it all to Ryver. My eyes meet hers across the room and I can feel the love radiate from her. I smile at her and she shoots me a wink.
