This is a Halloween Special. I know I'm like a week late.
You don't have to read this chapter, it is just a filler and no dramatic plot points happen.
If you read you do need to understand that in the main story I skipped Halloween and in a few weeks it will be Thanksgiving.
So with that being said
No Liam
No Scott
Yes there is Taylor & Jordan
No Emily
(No problems in the relationship)
No first kiss

For the longest time Halloween was just a normal day. As a family we would call it an early night. When I was a little kid, my father would have us dress up and go trick-or-treat in the neighborhood. The older I got the more I thought it was silly. Mostly because my mom thought it was silly, she was so happy when I wanted to quit. My dad on the other hand was so sad.
That's why he was so excited to see me walk down the stairs in a costume. He immediately grinned and started clapping. It drew my mother's attention as she stepped in to see.
"What's going on?" She asked.
"The royal princess is here!" My father announced.
I could feel my face heat up from the dramatic attention.
"Yes, a princess for a night." I told them.
My parents laughed at that.
"You've always been my princess, as you" He said, grabbing my mother and pulling her into his arms, "Have always been my Queen."
I laughed as they twirled around, "That was so cheesy!"
Mom laughed, "It's great that I love cheese."
I groaned, "It's getting worse!"
"She used to not like cheese. Would ignore me and scoff at every pickup line. She was my Ice Queen." Dad said as he still held mom.
My mom giggled in his arms and I closed my eyes. Suddenly we all heard a knock at the door and I smiled at the interruption. Dad tried to beat me to the door but he still had mom in his arms so I won,
I threw open the door and was glad to see Fritz.
"Picture time." Mother clapped.
I took in the look on Fritz's face and I knew what he was about to sign. Well it looked like he was about to but then remembered he was holding something.
This whole time I was looking at his face so I didn't notice the single rose he was holding, not until he held it out to me.
"You look gorgeous." He told me once I held the rose.
Because of my ball gown I couldn't just step aside, I had to walk into the hallway facing the door to let Fritz step in. Once he closed the door he walked straight to me.
"Look at the camera you two."
We smiled and mom take a few pictures.
"This isn't prom guys, it's just Halloween." I told them.
They reluctantly set the camera aside and I hugged them on the way out.
"Every year one of your teammates throws a Halloween party?"
