Dear mum, I'm ok!
You needn't worry about me.
I've been outside, walking and seeing
Smiling and grinning with glee.My friends came over as well,
we had loads of fun.
We played football and talked,
laughing and falling a ton!Dear mum, I'm fine.
You needn't worry about me.
I had a small argument with Frank today,
but now all is well you see.We talked it out, like adults.
See, mum? We can be civil.
It was a silly argument, mind you.
Silly over something trivial.Dear mum, I'm allright.
You needn't worry about me.
Today was not such a good day,
But I' grown up now, not three.Mary and I were talking,
things did not go so well.
She wanted some time alone.
and bid me a short, cold farewell.Dear mum, I'm not doing too good.
But you needn't worry about me.
I fell ill when I went out walking
But I didn't fall badly.I got some texts from my friends
wishing me to get well soon.
I wish Mary were here though.
Haven't spoken with her since yesterday afternoon.Dear mum, I'm not doing well.
But please, don't worry about me.
My troubles are not yours, they are mine.
So don't worry, I beg you on my knee.Dear mum, I'm not ok.
Please, don't worry about me.
Stop checking up on me, it's not too bad!
I'll just take some time off at the sea.Dear mum, I'm doing worse.
I'm at an apartment at the sea.
I have not stopped crying.
But please. Don't worry about me.Dear mum, I'm still not ok.
But I took a walk to the ancient tree.
I still have difficulty feeling good.
But please, don't worry about me.Dear mum, I'm not getting better.
But you don't have to help me.
The doctor says the cuts will heal.
Please, don't worry about me...Dear mum, I'm absolutely fine, I think.
The doctors let me out on occasion, to feel free.
They keep a check on me twenty-four seven.
So please, stop worrying about me.Dear mum.
I know I have not been the best of sons.
And I know I have not become what you wanted me to be.
But let me say this: I love you, mum.
Don't cry too much. Don't worry about me.Dear mum.
I miss you.
