~Extra~ Thanksgiving

It was a quarter till midnight and I was sitting on the floor with figgin' Robin sittin' in my room.

"Boy what do you want?" I said annoyed.

"Can I spend the night?"

"Why?" I asked sluggishly.

"Because I don't want to be at home right now." He said.

"Ok ok fine come on." I said.

I climbed in the bed and and patted next to me then closed my eyes. I heard some shuffling around. I let him leave his stuff here and I leave my stuff at his house.

I feel the bed move and I open one eye. Damian is sitting in the bed looking at his hands.

"Lay down." I mumbled.

He does as I request and lays down. He was wearing a wife beater on and I could still see the scar on his shoulder that he got in the fight.

"You ok?" I say as I let my eyes close again.

"Yeah." He whispered.

With that I let myself fall asleep.

THANKSGIVING DAY

When I woke up the next day Damian was gone. I want really shocked but then I saw that Dick had called my phone.

I called him back to find out what was going on.

"Hello Rogue." He said.

"Hey what's up?" I said.

"Do you know where Damian is? He's not in his room and he won't pick up the phone." He said.

I paused for a second to think about all the possible places, then it clicked." Yeah I know. Come pick me up because he will be more willing to come if I'm there."

"Ok I'll pick up up in 20 minutes."

"Ok bye."

I hung up then rolled out of bed to get dressed. I just put on a hoodie and legging because it's fall meaning it's cold and I wasn't going anywhere special. I threw on a cap to finish off my look.

I grab my phone and head downstairs. I see my mother making dinner and I smile.

"Morning mom. I'm going to be out for a while but I'll be back before noon."

"Ok kid who you goin' out with?"

"Dick and Damian."

"Ok then well call me ok?"

"Ok."

I grab my keys then head to the door. I go into the hall and make my way to the elevator to get to the lobby.

When I get to the lobby I see many people greeting family that came for the holiday.

I walk to the door and right then I see Dick coming.

He pulled up and rolled the window down." Hey kid hop in."

I get in the car and buckle up.

"So where we going?" He asked.

"The park." I said tiredly.

He doesn't question me anymore and drives.

I watch the almost bare trees past by and the busy people of Gotham try and get the last little things for Thanksgiving.
