Chapter 15 ~Missing~

So I just finished my first year of high school. I had my first heart break but there was more on the way so I might as well get used to the feeling now.

After my first homecoming going down hill I decided that I would just try and keep to myself so I don't get played again. What happened to Lloyd after our incident was sad. His fathers company got bought right from up under him. It was really shocking but then I found out who bought it, then it all started to make sense. It was none other than Wayne Enterprise. When I found out the truth I ran straight to Damian asking him what was the meaning of this. He said it was simply just another statement that he was making. Now Lloyd, not being intelligent, has been kicked out of Gotham Academy and now goes to Gotham Public.

Now it is a week after my birthday finally I'm 16. I make my way to my first period class irritated. You see what happened was that you can make a friend out of your enemy (like I did with Lacy) but another enemy will always find its way back to you. The new girl Pearl. She's a rich snob who's parents spoil her rotten. She has personal guards with her at all times and always feels the need to try and make others how down to her.

Apparently she is on the same level as Damian(money wise with parents). Of course when she saw Damian it was love at first sight for her anyway. She wants Damian and she will do almost anything to get him.

I found myself in her presence once and when I didn't bow down to her and her power she almost lost her mind. So now she had something against me and what's funny is she thinks I care. Now she always tries to do something petty that is supposed to make me submit to her but the thing is,she doesn't know that I can be the queen of pettiness so she has another thing coming.

I find myself in her presence once again with Damian. I rolled my eyes and kept going. I would get her back later. She still doesn't understand our relationship, which is fine because it will make it all the more sweeter when I get her back.

I have math first period which is good so I can get it over with early. I don't have any morning classes with MJ and Jack but I do have them in every single one of my classes in the afternoon. Damian is in some of my classes in the morning and some on the afternoon.

I make my way to the same seat that I have always sat in since middle school. The back corner so I can keep an eye on everyone that comes in. One by one kids come into the room. I see Drew and I give a wave a smile then he smiles and makes his way back to sit next to me.

We chat a little and tells me that Jackie can be a brat but is cute and funny so he said she's worth it.

Worth it. That must be nice to have someone not related to you say such things. I smile to myself then put my attention on the board and I watch the teacher wright Pop Quiz.

'Dammit! I should have tried harder on the home work.'

LATER THAT DAY

It was lunch time and I again saw Pearl eying Damian. I smiled evilly. This was going to be fun... for me. Damian was hanging with Drew and Michael when I walked over to him.
