ROGUE'S POV
I wasn't in the mood to deal with Damian after he somewhat insulted me. I decided to hang out with Jackie and Megan because they luckily got invited too. They both were geeked when they found out that Nick and I were going on a date. I really didn't want to make it a big deal I mean he may end up not liking me after the date or vice versa so nothing was official.
The party was elegant and the theme was black and gold. It took place in the ball room of Wayne Manor. This event brought back memories. I used to be the help along with my mother just so we could get through a night but now we were the ones being served. Life is quite funny doing people like that but the best thing I can do right now is be thankful that my mothers dreams came true.
I was happily shoving wonderful food down my throat until someone had the audacity to stop me! I was interrupted from heaven when somebody grabbed my arm and started to drag me away. It was none other than Damian effing Wayne.
"Whaaat?" I wined as we made our way to the balcony.
"Hush up." He said.
I rolled my eyes and let him pull me away much to my distaste because the food got further and further away.
Once we were on the balcony I took a moment to admire the sky. Gotham is truly a beautiful place if only more people had beautiful hearts.
I looked over and found a glaring Damian. "Well hey there bestie! What's on ya mind." I said sarcastically.
"Why the hell was I not informed about you and Rayes first?" He snapped at me.
"I didn't tell anyone." I said nonchalantly.
"So is this rumor not true?" He questioned.
"No it's true." I said in a bland manner.
"Rogue stop fucking with me!" He yelled.
I looked at him blankly." Ok first pull your panties out ya ass, and watch who you're taking to because you're not my dad and I don't have to report to you. Second I didn't tell anyone neither did Nick. We wanted to keep this on the low until after the date. When he asked me out someone from the Drama club admitted that they were listening in which really isn't all that shocking considering my locker is next to the classroom use for Drama club. How didn't you hear of this rumor until now really is a shocker to me I never through you were that oblivious. Thirdly I'm ending this conversation because there is a table of food calling my name and frankly it seems a lot more interesting than you at this given point and time. Now excuse me. " I turned on my toes and strutted away not looking back.
I love him because he is my best friend but he is starting to get on my nerves. I'll admit that I am being somewhat hypocritical because I remember that I used to be on his ass about the girls he dated but that was only when I had proof they were shady. Nick was nice and didn't really know anyone in the school. He had only hung with my group of friends and hasn't acted sneaky.
When I made it to the food there was another ass that ruined my appetite. There stood the future Mrs.Wayne. I put on my sickishly sweet smile but made sure that I gave off a 'I hate you aura' when the ever so perfect miss Sofie got in my in my way of actually getting food. Like what the fuck? What dose a girl have to do to get some damn food at this party.
