VIC'S POV
• • •

I don't know how much longer I can keep going. I have everything I could want, but it just feels like I'm dying inside. I've been strong for so long, I just can't take it anymore. I wish-

"Vic, honey!" Mama called from downstairs, interrupting my thoughts, "Your friend is here! The one with the porcupine hair!"

Jaime.

I stood from my bed and made my way down the stairs, wishing for nothing more than peace.

As I leave the last step, I'm enveloped in a massive, bone crushing hug. "Vic," Jaime sighed in relief, "you weren't answering your phone and I just- I thought I lost you."

I slowly wrapped my arms around my best friend, resting my head on his shoulder. "I'm okay, Hime, don't worry. I promise I won't leave you."

Lies. That's a fucking lie. But he doesn't have to know that..

"Thank fucking god," he breathes out, "I don't know what I'd do without you."

"I'm sorry to interrupt, boys, but I think you should hurry if you want to make it to school on time for the first day," Papa said, chuckling quietly.

My eyes went wide and I ran to grab my bag. I totally forgot we had school today after I got lost in my thoughts when I got ready.

"Mike! Get your ass down here, we're gonna be late for school!" I yelled up the stairs.

"Five more minutes for my hair!" He called back.

"No," I called back, "come one now!" After getter no response, I tried a different method, "Tony is waiting in the car!"

I heard my dipshit brother's footsteps as he came barreling down the steps and toward Jaime's car, where Tony was sat in the back on his phone.

"Bye Mama, bye Papa," I said, "I love you."

I ran out of the door with Hime and jumped into the passenger seat.

I sat in my desk in the back, no one new has showed up in this class yet.

About five minutes after the bell rang, there's a knock on the door and the teacher sighs, standing from his desk and opening the door for the person to come in.

"I'm sorry I'm late, I'm new and I got lost," the voice told Mr. Iero.

"It's fine, don't worry about it," he smiled, "why don't you introduce yourself to the class?"

A stunning boy in a navy dress that hugged his body stepped into sight. A few whistles were heard around the room, making him blush.

"H-hello, " he gave a small wave, "I'm Kellin Quinn, I'm from Michigan, I love 'feminine' clothing, and I'm gay." He smiled a little and started walking to the seat next to me.

As he walked past Jack Fowler, that dumbass, grabbed Kellin's ass, making him gasp and walk a bit faster. Kellin sat down, his cheeks a light shade of red.
