Raul sat at the table that his family has in their kitchen, ignoring Theron's comment since he didn't want to give his hopes up again. It was a small rounded wooden one with rounded stools to sit at. He rested his elbows on the table as he looked at Theron across from it. "So, what is this proper talk that we are supposed to have?" He raised his eyebrows at him expectedly.

"Let me first say sorry for last night." Theron answered, quickly as he seemed a bit embarrassed. "I was very frustrated last night, and I took it on a lot of people. I'm usually an easy-going drunk, but I was angry at the party and ended up pissy most of the night. I thought sex would help, but it only grew my frustrations. When you came across me that night, I only took my anger out on you."

"Weren't you worried that I'd tell people that you had sex with a man?" Raul asked, carefully as he watched Theron. This sounded way too true to be good for an apology.

"Honestly, I wasn't worried." He confessed. "The threat was a bluff. I knew you wouldn't tell, and if you did, no one would believe you anyways."

Raul leaned backwards, glaring. "Thank you for the reminder of our positions on this island." He felt insulted for that, but it was the truth. If he did tell, no one would believe him as all the chief's children have to have children to keep the line going. The more the merrier was what their motto was. He believed it was because a lot of children die young because of the sickness and cold, so it wasn't guarantee that even the sole heir will produce enough young that will survive.

"Basically, I'm here to apologize." Theron told him, offering a small smile at him. "I hope that it won't make you worried about your life anymore." He rubbed the back of his neck. "If you want... Maybe we can start anew? Start learning each other and become friends slowly?"

Raul blinked, feeling like he missed something. No way. This honestly was too good to be true. "I'm sorry, Theron, but I wasn't born yesterday. You never knew I existed until yesterday and now you want to be friends with me because of last night?"

"I can understand the suspicion, but no, I wasn't ignorant of your existence." He frowned as if surprised that Raul thought that way. "You prepare water for everyone in the morning before they go out training. You always watch us train in the afternoon. You're actually very thoughtful of everyone, and try your best to make their days easier. Just because I never personally had a conversation with you didn't mean that I didn't hear about you."

Raul fought the urge to blush at the mention of the training part. Was Theron aware that most of the time he watched him during the training sessions? If so, he was going to die from embarrassment and never survive from it. He knew that he acted like a girl that had a secret crush on someone that everyone knew wasn't secret even from the admirer. To have it pointed out from the admirer though? Yeah, time to curl up and hide from everyone.

"Well, if you want us to talk more then I'd be more than happy to." Raul conceded slowly. "I can't say that we can or will become friends because you were a total ass so there's a lot to make up for that."

Theron brightened. "You didn't outright say no so I'll take it." He chuckled. Giving his notorious wicked smile, he leaned across the table. "I'll be in your care then, Raul. Even if it was a bad impression, I'm happy it gave us the opportunity to speak and get to know each other."

Feeling like bells were going off, Raul narrowed his eyes at him, feeling suspicious again. "You're either scheming something or you just gave a hint to a secret that I don't know about. Which is it?"

His smile grew. "For you to know, you'll have to get to know me first." Theron teased as he straightened and got up. Easily changing subjects, he pointed out, "Don't you need to go do your rounds that isn't the livestock?"
