Lou's POV
I met Leo at the park where he was sitting on a bench. He looked different. Exhausted. Tired of life. Done with all the shit that has been going on at school. I sat down next to him and he immediately drew me into a hug. I didn't question it. I just responded. This was when I knew something was very wrong.
I felt something wet slip down my neck. I pushed him gently away. Looking at him cautiously. He looked at me sadly and sighed.
"My sister got into a car crash."
I looked down unsure what to say.
He continued, "Her boyfriend was drunk, and he drove. He was fine. But no! My sister paid for all the consequences. She's in a fucking coma! Fighting for her life!"
That's when I broke down. It brought back the memories.
The memories of them.
He looked at me in shock. He brought me into a hug and we cried together.
We may both be broken and not feeling the best, but together, we will get through this.
