Another week has passed. I still haven't been to school. I haven't contacted Amy. I've deleted all the messages on my phone. I'm not talking to mum. I've lost all hope in others and myself.

Monday
Leo xx: Lou please talk to me.
Lou
I'm sorry
Tuesday
I didn't mean for that to happen
It caught me by surprise
Lou
Please
Wednesday
Louise
Come on
Please
I never meant to hurt you
I just want to help you
I want to know who Louise is.
Thursday
Lou
I'm coming over.
Leighton had sent so many messages since I had deleted them all.
The last one scared me. He was coming over! I looked at the message send time, ten minutes earlier. He could be here any second.
I was not ready to see him. I couldn't deal with this right now. I locked the door to my room and pushed my bookcase in front of the door. I could hear soft voices and footsteps coming closer. I raced back to my bed, laid down and pulled the covers over my head. I did not want to be disturbed.
There was a soft knock at my door.
"Lou, someone is here to see you." Mum called
"Go away!" I yelled back
"Louise, please let me in" That was Leighton.
"I said go away!"
My door knob rattled. But refused to open.
"Louise. Open this door now. This is getting ridiculous."
I didn't reply.
I heard a voice say quietly, "That's okay Anne, I'll come back another time."
Mum had sighed in response and I listened as two pairs of footsteps retreated away.
I buried myself deeper into the covers of my bed, I just wanted to stop hurting. I just wanted all this to end. I closed my eyes, slowly letting sleep overcome me. That's when I heard a noise. A person breathing heavily. I opened my eyes, and they brought me to the window. A body was coming in. A groan was heard.
"Holy crap Lou, you make this difficult." It was Leighton. I should of known he wouldn't give up easily.
"Leighton, please go away."
"No, I need to see if you're okay."
"I'm fine. Now leave."
"My sisters out of her coma, she's gonna be alright." Leo said softly
"Good for you, now go." I say firmly.
I felt the covers pull back as Leighton laid down next to me. He drew me into a hug, not saying anything. He somehow knew that this was exactly what I needed. I couldn't help what I was feeling and drew closer to him as I silently cried into him. I knew from this point on. I really liked him and I had no idea what to do. He was proving himself to me. What he meant. That he cared. And that scared the hell out of me.
