The skies were angry, so was the sea, volcanoes were erupting. Was the world really going to end like this? Steven and Alain were in a helicopter, only a few miles away from the legendary battle but they could almost feel the exhilaration. "Sir we're here" the pilot said to Steven who nodded and glanced out the window. They could see a large strip of lava keeping the continent Pokemon up while the sea Pokemon eyes glared underneath the dark blue sea. "Its the stone..." Lysander said into the microphone. Alain and Steven nodded.

Steven saw glitter gather up between the two monsters. Grabbing both their attention. But then the door of the helicopter opened. "Huh what are you-" Steven grunted at the harsh winds before seeing Alain release his Charizard "mega evolve!" He shouted before his orange companion was consumed by light to transform into a black dragon. Alain was protecting the stone? Steven wasn't sure why but he guessed it did make since to make sure neither of the two held the power. "Metagross!" Steven released his companion and protected the stone side by side. "Did you really think can protect it by yourself?" Steven said with amusement .

The battle was hard, trying to avoid being blasted away and also yelling their commands to their companions who tried dodging the furious attacks. It wasn't until Charizard got thrown on to the ice. Steven was worried that the impact would extinguish Charizard's flame. "Charizard!" Alain shouted going down a zip line to help his Pokemon. "Alain its dangerous!" Steven shouted "lower the helicopter!" He order as his men followed his order. Groudon threw the sea Pokemon across the ice and blasted it with its power. Alain was just tossed away like paper, his body slammed against ice causing the boy to faint "Alain!" Steven shouted. "Sir the bottom hatched just opened!" The pilot said as Steven saw the small girl run across the icy ground to save Alain. "No no...." Steven was worried for the two young ones.

But relief swept through him when his metagross saved them. "Protect those two!" He ordered and looked back to the glittering stone. "Sir a huge wave of energy is being released" the pilot said with worry in his voice, Lysander received the same reading. Soon the rock took it's form. "The stone...it's back..." Steven then noticed the sky was starting to bundle up in a huge pile. Hearing the screech of  Rayquaza again. "He's back! Pilot steer away from the center" Steven shouted but it was to late the green dragon bursted through the clouds. Rampaging on the sea and continental Pokemon. Steven tried to keep his eye on Alain and Mairlin to insure their safety but the helicopter was swaying dangerously.

"Sir please close the door! Sir!" The pilot shouted but the helicopter swung around in a circle when Rayquaza zoomed passed it. "Return to-" Steven flung out the door, he tried grabbing on to the foot off the helicopter but was whacked by the tail of the it. "Sir!!!!" The pilot called out seeing the man fall towards the dark sea. Steven opened his arms and legs trying to slow down hia fall but his left arm was injured "My arm..." Steven hissed seeing his arm wave freely in the air, it was definitely broken. He tried pulling the string of the parachute but the string was stuck. He looked around, he heard Mairlin shout his name, saw his Metagross trying to catch his trainer but also trying to protect the two kids. "Protect them well pal" Steven smiled looking back at the three legendaries that battled viciously. "Im sorry" he said closing his eyes slowly. "Steven!" A very close voice shouted, it was familiar but who was it? He opened eyes but found himself in a Charizard clutches. "Alain's Charizard?" Steven questioned but saw it didn't have a mega stone on. "It's been to long Steven!" The voice said finally showing his face "Ash?" Steven questioned but he knew those lightning bolt cheeks anywhere and the pikachu that always stayed by his side.

Ash helped Steven mount on his Charizard's back "your arm..." Ash said seeing it limp "I'm fine. We have to stop those three" Steven said looking at the battle. "Easier said than done" Ash said but smiled "but whats a fight without a challenge! Charizard lets show Steven what your made of!" Ash cheered. They flew into the battle, using flamethrower to back away the sea and earth pokemon away from the stone. Aiding Rayquaza. "Reflect!" Steven called out to his Metagross who protected his trainer. "Woahhhh. Is he a shiny Metagross! And he mega evolves!" The younger said but was brought back to the matter in front of him when Rayquaza did the final blow. Sending the two back into a long slumber once again "Is it over?" Steven asked seeing the green dragon hover over the big rock. "Hey Steven what's that" Ash questioned pointing down at the water, a submarine emerged. "I don't know..." he said squinting at it.
