Chapter 8 : Afterparty at Ryan's house

I wake up in an embrace on the floor, Ryan was holding me. What just happened?

"Oh look she's awake! You fainted earlier. How you feeling? " Bella says concerned.

"Okay, I guess..." I look down at my knee. The stockings was ripped, revealing a scab which was slightly bleeding. Ryan looks at me and sees what I was looking at.

"You should get home to get that clean and put a plaster on."

"It's fine, I'll go with Meredith. Wouldn't want Megan to feel lonely here at the party"

"What? Ohhh....no no no.....she started kissing me and I tried to push her away. When I finally got her off of me, you were gone. You made me worry there for a second. I then went outside for air and saw you lying on the floor. My heart stopped and I felt like I could have somehow prevented it if I kept my eye on you. I'm so so so sorry-"

"But seriously you don't need to take me home, I don't want to stop you from enjoying the party,"

"I only came because you did. I don't want to stay here without you," he says rubbing the nape of his neck.

"Oh okay...ummm-"

"Hey can we come with? This party won't be lit without you," says Noah referring to himself, Chad and Steven.

"Sure," Ryan says.

"And we obviously going with you," Harper states.

We get into two cars and drive to his house.

Ryan POV

"Okay this might hurt a bit..." I say as I'm about to put dedetol on it. I gently dab the cotton ball on her skin.

"Holy fudge it burns! It burns like hell!" She yells grabbing my hand and squeezes the life out of it. She's so cute even when in pain. She clenches her teeth and her nose scrunches up like a bunny's.

"It's okay...the sting will go away in a second," I say assuringly.

I wonder if the kissing thing made her faint. I should have stayed with her all the time and not just go off, leaving her. At least I was there in time, some other dodge person could have taken her. I'm just happy she's safe and didn't get hurt that bad. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if something had happened to her. I feel in a way obligated to take care of her, and I hate seeing her unhappy. She means so much to me.

"Its still early, don't you girls want to stay a bit longer and we can watch a horror movie later." suggested Chad.

Good idea. Yeah. That would be cool. I hear the other girls say.

"Let me go fetch my Ouija board at home! I'll be back," I say with the feeling of excitement.

"You can't go alone its dark outside-" Ryan says with a serious look on his face.

"Sorry mom,"

"Let me just go with you."

We walk under the starry night skies. The moon was full lighting up the pathway clearly. It was a beautiful night, like the ones you would read about in books.

I feel his hand touching mine as we walk side by side.

"Look there's a shooting star! Make a wish." I say and made mine.

"What was yours?" I ask.

His hand suddenly folds into mine. Our hands we're in twined. He stands in front of me and holds my other hand as well. He pulls me closer to his chest and puts my arms around his neck. I look up into his eyes that are sparkling as bright as the stars.

"To love you..."
