Chapter 5

I hate Mondays so much, like can't we just cancel it and go back to sleep please? I lazily get out of bed and get ready for school.

"I just want to remind you of your assignment due next Monday" Mr. Marx said when we where in his class. Me and Luke looked at each other and smiled knowing that we were done. "I would also like to remind you that along with the presentation you have to give, you should also have a small scale model of the product.

Wait what did he say!? Oh no we totally forgot to build the damn thing! This is just great, wonderful way to start the week. Note the sarcasm.

"So I guess we're not done with the assignment hey?" Luke said after class. "Nope it doesn't look like it. I can't believe we forgot to make it." I said facepalming myself. "When do you have time so we can finish it?" Luke asked. "If you don't have any plans you can come over to my place after school and we can finish it?" I offered. "Sure I'll come over. Hopefully that's the only thing we forgot" Luke said with a smile.

*Luke's POV*

*In another class*

"Today after school we are going to play some soccer, you're joining us right?" Calum asked. "I can't, after school I'm going to Skye's place to finish the assignment we have" I told him, and he gave me a strange look. Seriously what is it with these two lately?

"I thought you guys finished it on Saturday" Michael said looking confused. "We thought we did too but today in class Mr Marx reminded us of it and said there has to be a small scale model of our product to, so now we have to build it."

"You like hanging out with Skye don't you?" Calum said out of the blue. Is it that obvious!? Oh my word I hope Ana didn't figure out that I like Skye a little more than I should.

I was so lost in my panicked thoughts that I forgot to reply. "We can see you like her Luke." Michael's words quickly brought me out of my lost state. "Please don't be mad at me, I swear I didn't want this to happen" I blurted out, expecting the worst.

"We know you didn't and don't worry. We anyway think that you and Skye are more alike and would make a better couple than you and Ana" Michael said shocking me even more. "Yeah we like Ana, she is lovely and a great friend but you don't really fit each other" Calum gives his opinion.

"What am I going to do? I don't want to ruin our friendship neither Ana and Skye's and I don't even know if she likes me back." I said putting my head in my hands.

Why does life always have to be so complicated? Can all this love drama just stop existing please?

*Skye's POV*

*After school*

Luke will be here any minute now so I quickly change into something more comfortable and get something to eat.

Ding Dong

That must be him now. I go and open the door.

"Hey Luke, you ready to finish this thing for the second time?" I asked inviting him inside. "Yes and let's just hope this is the final time" Luke replied.

"Okay I went over all the criteria and double checked that we have everything done. Do you want to double check as well just to be safe?" I said a few hours later looking at the finished product.
"No I trust you" Luke said and gave me a sweet smile.

Oh he should stop being adorable! I'm trying to not have a crush on you and then you look at me like that! Why Luke, why!?

"Now that we are done, do you want to watch a movie or something?" I asked. "Yeah why not." "Any specific movie requests or is Titanic okay?" I joked, about to take The Hunger Games out. "I've never watched the Titanic before" Luke said, blushing like mad. "Are you serious?"

I can't believe it!

"I just never came to the point of actually watching it." he said embarrassed. "Well now you're gonna watch it, let me just go get the tissues and some snacks." "Is it that sad?" Luke asked surprised. "The ending gets me every time" I fake sobbed. "Oh no what have I done?" Luke exclaimed dramatically while I'm putting in the DVD.

As you guessed I was in tears because Jack died. It was so unnecessary he would have fitted on that plank!!

"Aww don't cry, it's just a movie" Luke comforted me. "You're a nice one to talk, I saw you wiping away a tear or two yourself mr Hemmings" I teased him. "Okay I'll admit it, I cried a little but you keep this between us, okay?" he begged me and how could I refuse if he's asking so nicely? "Only because you didn't tell on me and my dancing" and que to my words he began to laugh and I get the horrifying flashbacks.

Luke phone began to ring and he went to answer it. I started to put away the DVD and snacks. After a while I heard screaming and it sounds like Luke....
