Chapter 11

*Luke's POV*

"Oh my world I can't believe this tour went by so fast! There is only like 4 months left. That's insane!" Michael exclaimed after the show. "Yeah I'm still having trouble to believe that this is reality. Touring with the guys from 1D, making our own album, writing with the best people ever and touring the world! It's sick!" Calum said while shaking his head in disbelief. To be honest I don't think any of us expected this to happen, we thought we would maybe be a small local band but this....this was unexpected!

We are on our way to play a show in some state in America, in not sure which one yet but we'll find out when we get there. Right now I just want to chill on the tour bus and listen to some music. I know we will arrive tomorrow at wherever we will play and then we have the day off to explore. I'm kinda excited, we haven't had some time off in a while.

*The next day*

I felt the bus stop and as we got all our things out we saw The Statue of Liberty! We're in New York!! This is so awesome we just have to visit the island, no excuses.

The. Statue. Is. Huge.

Sorry if I nerd out a little but this is just amazing. I have to text Skye and show her! Oh wait, no. I forgot we don't speak to each other, if I message her now out of nowhere pretending like I didn't ignore her for weeks, she'll be way more pissed than I think she might already be. Or maybe she doesn't give a shit that I don't talk to her and is glad I stopped bothering her.

"Hey what's the matter man?" Ash asks, noticing my sudden change in mood. "Nothing" I simply answered hoping he'll drop the subject....he didn't. "Luke I know something's up, tell me." Ashton pushed on. Uhg why can't he just understand that I don't want to talk about it? "It's the whole thing with Skye" I gave in. "What about Skye?" he asked, I just gave him a look that said 'are you dumb.' "So she's the reason you've been so moody this last few weeks? We were wondering what's wrong with you but we didn't want to make you angry" Ashton said in a kind way "did you two had a fight or what?"

Oooh yeah They don't know about Skye and her boyfriend, Alex. I say his name in disgust, the guy who stole my world. I just wanted all that thoughts out of my head, I didn't want to talk about it, I still don't really want to but I guess I have to now.

"No we didn't fight Ashton" is all I say not really wanting to tell him about the rest because I know it's my fault and childish. "Why are you guys here and not with us?" Michael asks as he and Calum join us. "Luke had a fight with Skye" Ashton answers and their eyes widen. I kinda lost myself there for a second. Didn't he have ears to listen. "I told you we didn't fight!" I snapped at him. "Hey calm down Luke" Calum said making me realize that I'm acting like a dick again.

"Uhg I'm sorry guys, I'm just so....i don't even know" I said putting my head in my hands. "Bro it's okay we're here for you, you can tell us" Ashton comforted me, patting my back.

"She got a boyfriend and didn't even tell me about him. One night I was Skyping her and out of nowhere this hulk of a guy comes and hug her, you should've seen how her face lit up when she saw him. Alex is his name I think. I was to overwhelmed and ended the call without a single word and I haven't talked to her since. She tried phoning and texting me but I'm to much of an ass to talk to her. Why does she want to talk to me anyway she's got her boyfriend." I told them the whole story and now I'm feeling even more pathetic now that my friends also know what a loser I am.

"Awh man that's bad. I'm sorry bro" Michael said and the rest agreeing. After that there was a short silence before Michael spoke again. "Wait did Skye introduce him as her boyfriend or just told you his name?" "She just said his name but what does that matter?" I asked curiously. "Well if she didn't mention a boyfriend before and didn't introduce him as her boyfriend....I mean who knows maybe they aren't dating" Michael explained. "It makes sense you know. She would've told you if she were dating someone, you are every close friends and they tell each other that stuff" Ashton added.

Wow I never thought of it like that. What they are saying can actually be true, she did never say she was dating someone or likes someone maybe he's het cousin or something. Damn how could I have been so stupid!? I certainly messed up big time. I don't even know if I can fix this mess but I gave to try, Skye is worth it. I just wished I've realized that earlier.

"Guys I've messed up. I really need to fix things with Skye before it's to late, it might even already be to late" I said just as Calum got back from taking a phone call. "Luke relax, everything will work out just fine you'll see. But for now let's just enjoy our little break" Calum said smiling widely. "I hope you're right" I replied as we walked towards the boat to take us back.
