Ariana's POV
I sat on the sidewalk waiting for Jennifer to come pick me up. My iPod was on a roll. It played all my favorites this morning and it's continuing to do the same.
I could tell today was going to be a good day. Well, it might not. I mean no one can predict the future. Maybe a truck was going to run over me the next second. It could happen. Who knows?
I think everyday is a good day. Sure, there are some parts of the day that annoy you, but that's just one or two things. You can't let a thing or two bring your whole day down. People in this generation make such a big deal about the stupidest little things. We take life for granted. Children are crying, soldiers are dying and some people don't have a home and we're making a big deal about not having the latest iPhone.
A car pulled up in front of me, snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked up and it was Jennifer's red Ferrari. See what I mean about this generation. I hopped in the back seat of the car.
The best part about the morning is that I live far from the school. I can just jam out to some music in the car with Jennifer without a care in the world.
"Well someone's hyped for the day." Jennifer said as she started driving.
I smiled. "I am! I mean it's Friday bro, everyone's hyped"
"That reminds me" Jennifer said turning up the radio.
'Friday' by Rebecca Black blasted through the speakers.
Kayla and Joshua, who were sitting next to me, sang the first parts of the song. Jennifer and I don't come in till the chorus. Carla, who was sitting in the passenger seat, was crying as usual.
We all have that one friend, that one friend. Every time you see her, mascara is streaming down her face because of her tears. I call this friend 'The Water Works'.
And here comes the chorus.
"IT'S FRIDAY! FRIDAY! GONNA GET DOWN ON FRIDAY! PARTY AND PARTY AND YEAH! PARTY AND PARTY AND YEAH! FUN! FUN! FUN! Looking forward to the weekend!" Jennifer and I sang, well screamed.
Once the song finished, Carla started crying loudly. Ugh. This is getting annoying.
"What's up with her?" I asked not caring.
"Marcus broke up with her." Kayla said.
"Again?"
"Again." Jennifer and Joshua said at the same time.
It's not like there's nothing new. Carla's always crying and it's because of Marcus all the time. I tried to tell her to move on, but she just won't do it. Everytime Marcus breaks up with a girl, he goes out with Carla again and Carla goes back to him everytime. Poor girl. I feel bad for her sometimes, but it's not my fault she goes back out with a guy who broke her heart 6 times.
"Who did Marcus leave her for this time?" I asked.
"Um... I think her name is Ver.... Verano... or... Verna.... I don't know it Ver something." Joshua said.
"It's Veronica. Her names Veronica, Joshua." Kayla said.
Carla started crying even louder. Oh my god! Shut up already!
"He dumped her for Veronica? Veronica as in Hoeronica?" I asked.
Everyone nodded their head. I laughed. I remembered yesterday. Watching Veronica all over Justin was disgusting.
"When did Hoeronica hook up with Marcus?" I asked.
"After Justin kicked all of us out of his party. By the way, where were you? We were looking all over for you at the party!" Joshua asked.
